Assumptions of Appreciative Inquiry

• In every community, organization, or group, something works.• If we carry parts of the past forward, they should be what is

best about the past.• What we focus on becomes our reality. • The simple act of asking questions has an influence on us• People are more confident and comfortable moving into the
