EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO BE INVOLVED IN THE SYDNEY CATALYST T2T3 (EVIDENCE INTO PRACTICE) WORKING GROUP
Sydney Catalyst, and specifically our T2T3 Working Group, is seeking to engage with members working in the Evidence into Practice and Implementation Research space and invite interested members to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) using the enclosed form. The objectives of the T2/3 Working Group are to generate new ideas, build capacity and advocate for the interests of members in the Evidence into Practice and Implementation Science space (as outlined in the group’s Terms of Reference). Based on the Cancer Institute NSW model of translational research, the stages of translational research relevant to the group include:
• T2: testing the efficacy and effectiveness of treatments and interventions (eg. Phase III clinical trials; observational studies; evidence synthesis and guidelines development); and
• T3: dissemination and implementation research for system-wide change (eg. dissemination research; implementation research; diffusion research, Phase IV clinical trials).
There are a number of different ways that interested members can engage with the Sydney Catalyst T2/3 program, including formally joining the working group (requiring participation in 4-6 meetings/year), contributing to new ideas and activities being led by the working group and being involved in symposia and professional development. Sydney Catalyst members who are interested in being involved in our T2T3 (Evidence into Practice) Working Group are encouraged to submit an EOI form via email to Merilyn Heuschkel, Research Manager [email protected] no later than 5pm, 27 September 2019.
