EXPRESS CHECK OUT

CHECK OUT: Departure of a guest who has settled his bills.

EXPRESS CHECK OUT: Any number of methods of guest intimated check out,

that doesnt require guest to physically present at the hotels front desk forsettling their bills. It is an activity which involves compilation & early morningdistribution of guest folios to all guests who are expected to check put thatmorning.

Express check out system typically permits guests to review their folios beforechecking out. Folios may be delivered to the guest rooms early on the check outmorning, or guest may use check out kiosks (small electronic machine locatedin the hotel lobby that allows guests with the proper identification to register orcheck out of the hotel without the need of interact with front desk clerk) or canview copies of his account folios on the in room television or by internetconnection.

In all cases, the systems allow the guests to review their bills and check out of the hotel without standing in the line at the front office. Those guests who hold

credit card or their payment is direct they can avail this facility. Thereceptionist should inform the customer about the facility and if guest agree to

use it, obtain his credit card. For this you are required to take the impressionof the card on the charge slip and also on ECO slip. Which are with the

reception. Ask the guest to sign the charge slip. Give copy of Eco slip to theguest and also inform him to wrap his key along with his ECO copy and drop in

the express check out box at the time of departure. This facility cannot beused for the BTC or Cash bill settlement. Duty manager or lobby manager isresponsible to check the ECO box after every 30 mins without fail to enable

the cashier to show check out on the computers.
