Renowned for their collection of intimately unique retreats,
Spicers Retreats combines the individuality and privacy of
a bed and breakfast with the style, quality and standards of
the world’s finest hotels.
With six stunning destinations in south-east Queensland, two
in the Hunter Valley, NSW, one in the Blue Mountains, NSW,
and one in the Sydney CBD, each Spicers destination offers
an exclusive, private escape from the world.
SPICERS RETREATS OFFERS AN EXCLUSIVE
TRAVEL EXPERIENCE TO A WORLD OF
BREATHTAKING AUSTRALIAN SCENERY,
ATTENTIVE SERVICE, UNIQUE GASTRONOMIC
DELIGHTS, REFINED COMFORT,
and relaxed luxury.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
The Spicers Retreats collection grew out of the idea that
small hotels should feel like a home, but guests should still
enjoy a level of service they’d expect at the finest hotel.
Here, there is no ‘cookie-cutter’ style, no rigid rules so
that every property looks the same. Instead, we embrace
individuality so that each property is as intimately unique
as the group itself.
SUSTAINABILITY
At the heart of Spicers Retreats is a love for the environment
and a deep desire to see people experience the wonder of
nature in a sustainable way, without sacrificing luxury in
the process.
Our commitment to the land means we invest heavily
in responsible farming techniques, sourcing ethically and
sustainably grown ingredients for our restaurants, and in the
rejuvenation of thousands of acres of private nature reserve
that our retreats are positioned on.

THE SPICERS EXPERIENCE
Spicers Retreats offer an escape to breathtaking Australian
scenery, attentive service and relaxed luxury. Surrounded by
stunning vistas, cocooned in a rainforest or set amid quaint
hinterland towns and villages, every retreat invites you to
explore the region it is located in, and experience its sights,
sounds, and unique character.
Each property offers not only a unique location, but a
range of natural environments – the high country woodland
of Spicers Peak Lodge, the tranquil rainforest of Spicers
Tamarind Retreat and the open grassland of Spicers Hidden
Vale. These unique ecosystems are also home to a wide
variety of native flora and fauna.
By bringing together unforgettable locations, award-winning
gourmet cuisine and attentive service, Spicers Retreats
make the ideal venue for special occasions, an inspiring
conference or a unique Australian getaway.

SPICERS POTTS POINT
COMING SOON
Nestled in the midst of Potts Point on the
edge of the Sydney CBD, Spicers Potts
Point has a distinct urban feel.
Situated on Victoria Street, it comprises 20 guest rooms;
15 housed within the 1880 Victorian Terrace House with
the remaining five rooms in a beautiful new extension
with a textured laneway outlook. Tucked away on a leafy
street these former Sydney townhouses are surrounded
by fashionable shops, cafes and restaurants and offer
convenient access to Sydney’s world class atttractions.
The new hotel reflects a fresh contemporary style. The
palette is neutral, peaceful and restrained - bleached oaks,
lime washed bisques with highlights of gold, soft slouchy
linens, cuddly soft towels and the famous Spicers Retreat
bed establishes a luxury that is relaxed and uniquely
Australian. Modern transparent bathrooms and original
character fireplace mantels mix the language emphasising
the blend of old and new. The hotel has a private club feel
that peacefully envelopes the guest once inside and away
from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Visitors to the
hotel can enjoy a drink at the new reception bar, breakfast
in the garden courtyard or perhaps host a small meeting
in a private room.
