The Babylonian Translation of the Exorcism of the Crown of ANU When I first started writing for this great blog I had many ideas about what I wanted to accomplish. Some of those ideas I have given shape, and have seen them successfully come true. Others I have yet to give physical shape, although the mental image of these goals has since long been clearly impressed on my mind. There is one specific goal which I have sought to complete since my involvement in the Tradition, but I came to the conclusion that I first had to improve my knowledge of the ancient tongue, and that I had to improve my skill of recognizing the often confusing differences that exist in the texts that are available to us. While I enjoy such challenges I must honestly admit that it can be incredibly frustrating, mainly because all of us who are involved in contributing to this blog seek to be as accurate as possible when it comes to the Necronomicon Tradition, because we take our tasks seriously. And because we are one of the few proper sources of information regarding the Necronomicon we have a responsibility towards our readers and have to take great care that our information is valid and that it can be relied on. It is for that same reason that some parts of the Book are seldom discussed, as we are yet unable to locate the source material which can validate their authenticity. This is very important because feeding people false information, which may, or may not be unintentional, is, in my eyes, an act of “working evil”. Therefore it should be avoided. It is for this very reason that the translation of the Exorcism of the Crown of ANU has not yet been added to this blog. That is, however, about to change as I am fairly certain that I can present to the reader a fairly accurate Babylonian translation of this important and much used exorcism. 1. The Babylonian Translation of the Exorcism of the Crown of ANU

When I first started writing for this great blog I had many ideas about what I wanted to accomplish.
