Comments from Visitors

Learned cutting-edge technologies.

Viewed actual products and received explanations from attendants.

Built connections with lots of vendors and received guidance on new

products and technologies.

Had business meetings with the management of manufacturers and

exchanged information. In addition, obtained a proposal for cost reduction.

Visited booths of various companies and acquired interesting information

and connections.

Utilized as an opportunity to eff iciently hold business meetings, allowing

me to visit multiple companies at a time.

Look forward to coming here every year because I can obtain up-to-date

information and meet exhibitors in terms of devices and processes.

Glad to have interesting projects, such as the Asian and Tohoku pavilions.

The seminars were very thought-provoking and informative. Glad I par-

ticipated after successfully learning about new trends.

Found a company we may collaborate with.

Next Generation Technology Pavilion Power semiconductor area It's New

Because of their ability to sensitively control power consumption, power

semiconductors hold a signif icant key to broadening various power-related

businesses, including EV and PV. Power semiconductors are coming to the

forefront because of the development of a new material dealing with high

voltage, which may lead to an expanded application range. This area focuses

on technologies relating to power semiconductors, such as production process,

materials and measuring inspection technology.

Target exhibits: Devices, production equipment, materials, defect inspec-

tions, measuring, applications and other related products.

3D IC area It's New

The 3D IC is attracting attention as an imminent solution for device minia-

turization. The 3D IC technology brings about a revolution of the micro-

electronics industry, and innovates in every process of the supply chain rang-

ing from designing to f inal testing. The keywords of this area include “TSV”, “3D structure” and “next-generation packaging”.

Target exhibits: Production equipment, materials, defect inspections, mea-

suring, applications and other related products.

MEMS area MEMS technologies are continuously moving forward with their expanded

application range as a result of their encounter with systemization technology,

which has opened the door to the next stage of development. Various MEMS

technologies will be featured.

Target exhibits: Production equipment, materials, defect inspections, mea-

suring, applications and other related products.

Printed electronics area This area features hot, next-generation print technologies about to be com-

mercialized, including the f lexible print technology currently attracting

attention as the patterning technology for organic EL and devices, and nano-

imprint technology viewed as the key to device miniaturization.

in the near future. Cutting-edge technologies are featured, including

450mm, next-generation exposure technology, EUV, new materials, new

measuring technologies and next-generation production engineering.

Target exhibits: Production equipment, materials, measuring, inspections,

applications, software & services, others

Business Pavilions LED / Organic Device Pavilion It's New

This becomes a separate pavilion independent of the next-generation pavil-

ion. It is an area featuring cutting-edge, light-emitting devices such as LED,

HBLED, organic EL and organic semiconductors. Unlike many other LED-

and organic-semiconductor-related exhibitions, SEMICON Japan focuses on

production technologies and materials.

Target exhibits: Production equipment, materials, defect inspections, mea-

suring, applications and other related products.

Secondary Equipment & Services Pavilion With a need for more enhanced production equipment of 200 mm or less

mainly in various ASSPs, semiconductors for vehicles, power devices and the

like, secondary equipment is in high demand from the perspective of cutting

capital spending and speeding up starts on new lines. As a meeting place for

such needs and seeds, the signif icance of the Secondary Equipment Pavilion

has been increasing year by year.

Target exhibits: Equipment, parts, services, human resources and other relat-

ed businesses

Supply Chain Pavilion It's New

This facilitates new encounters in the supply chain by introducing the leading

companies of horizontal specialization in semiconductor manufacturing. It is

a business-oriented pavilion to build win-win relationships from Japan to the

world, or vice versa.

– Design and manufacturing service area A place for new encounters beyond categories and national borders will be

created by gathering the key players from subcontractors, test houses and

foundries.

Target exhibits: Circuit designing, mask designing, subcontracting of man-

ufacturing, subcontracting of processes, testing / evaluation and analysis,

assembly and other related businesses

– Parts supplier area Provides a dynamic, new exhibiting opportunity that connects distin-

guished Asian parts suppliers and senior buyers from major Japanese equip-

ment companies.

Target exhibits: Parts, services, human resources and other related businesses

– Business development area Japanese and other countries' agencies for attraction of enterprises and local

governments are being invited to open up their booths. This is a place for

information exchange between exhibitors and visitors for overseas business

expansion.

Target exhibits: Government agencies, local governments, various organi-

zations and other related business groups
