excluded, cold, the existential

Let us keep our eyes turned

all authority in the Church, where
the One who is Lord becomes a
servant until the total offering of
himself ".

7 • The gestures and Magisterium of Pope Francis invite us to
a “conversion” in our service toward the brothers and
sisters: conversion of our personal attitudes, relationships,
perspectives and style of mission.
• We are called to welcome and face the challenges of the
history and the problem of mankind by a positive and
benevolent attitude, being able to see in the growing
wheat field, even in the middle of the weeds, making
God's love known to the world, committing ourselves to
rebuild trust and giving to people the chance to express
themselves.
1. Conversion of personal attitudes
a) A service focused upon the
essential
Jesus Christ is the essential, the
witness of the Gospel according
to the charisma: by this loyalty
we support our brothers and
sisters on their journey toward
the Lord.
We are called to live discipleship
as an essential and indispensable
condition to devour our mission,
aware of being at the
"crossroads of the gift": all that
God has given us .... we are
called to give it to others ...

1. Conversions of personal attitudes
a) A service focused upon the
essential
Our life commitment consists
in identifying ourselves with
Jesus who put the person at
the very center, was mercyful
and tender, shared words and
gestures of deep humanity
and forgiveness.
We can continue to act as
Jesus only if we live in a deep
union with Him and
contemplate people and the
realities of creation with His
same eyes full of benevolence
and respect.

1. Conversion of personal attitudes
b) A service that has its moral authority
in authenticity
• Each of us is called to stand up for
own inner freedom and be himself,
whitout stiffening himself in the
dynamics of the role.
• Our credibility depend on the
coherence between words, gestures
and truths of life.
• Our commitment consists in break
free ourselves from mundane signs of
the power and spirit of the world,
giving witness of a simple, humble
and joyful life.

1. Conversion of personal attitudes
c) A service expressed by a deep
humanity
• We are invited to firmly fight
against the culture of the discard
which can also enter in our life,
recognizing and standing up for the
fundamental rights of the whole
person.
• We are called to express bravely the
tenderness especially toward the
most vulnerables;
• To recognize our sins and limits;
• To not pretend to have all the
answers for everything and
everyone but rather patiently look
for the truth together with the
brothers and sisters.

2. Conversion of the relationships…
a) A service able to exrpess itself in
a simple and direct way
• We feel the importance of using
a modern language;
• Listening a lot to learn those
words that can be understood by
others;
• Taking care of communication
and its pedagogy, looking for and
finding words that make sense,
that touch people’s heart because
they are close to their life;

2. Conversions of relationships....
a) A service that is a “walking together with the brothers and
sisters”
We walk with our brothers and sisters, like Jesus did with the
disciples on the journey to Emaus:
In front of them, to make their way and show the goal,
looking at the horizon with hope;
Behind them, to go to the rythm of the weakest, taking
care of nobody gets lost;
Among them, able to mix us in the group, because we too
are on the way, with our efforts and joys, our impulses and
sins in the common commitment of fidelity to the vocation

2. Conversion of relationships…
b) A service that seeks for the will
of God together with the brothers
and sisters
We value discernment and
collegiality so that communion may
grow, creating and consolidating
the structures necessary for
participation, aware that the
discernment is a process that
requires patience and time,
listening and inner freedom, spirit
of faith and courage to take
decisions according to the
responsability.

a) A “prophetic” service
In the whole of our attitudes and
our choices we try to understand
and make understand the signs
that invite to change, we try to
express the prophecy, the vision of
the future and the proximity to the
poor.
We are called to witness in a more
visible way, through our concrete
choices, the sign of fraternity,

b) A service that has the
courage to "go out and let
out”
We collect the invitation to
go to the geographic and
existential peripheries, in a vital
dynamic of "going out" through
the ways opened by the Gospel,
in a permanent state of mission,
freeing us from any form of
institutional and self-referential
rigidity, "to progress on the path
of a pastoral and missionary
conversion, which can not leave
things as they are.” (EG 25).

3. Conversion of perspectives and style
of mission
c) A service that expresses
and spreads the culture of
encounter
We are invited to
promote and witness the
"culture of encounter" as a
style of life and mission,
with gestures of closeness,
especially towards the least,
the weak, the sick who are
among us the flesh of
Christ.

3. Conversion of perspectives and style
of mission
c) A joyful service that gives hope,
We are called to rekindle the
hope of our brothers, to warm
our hearts, bearing witness to the
courage to open new ways, in
creative fidelity to the charisma
and daring of the Founders.
"There is no greater freedom
than to be guided by the Spirit, to
renounce to calculate everything
and to allow him to enlighten us,
to guide us, to direct us, to push
us wherever He wants us."(EG
280).
