Term-end exams will be a written pen-paper exam and will be held twice every year in the months of June and December. The students are at liberty to appear in any of the examinations conducted by the University during the year. A student will be allowed to appear in the Term End Examination of a course, for which he/she has completed the internal assessments. For appearing in the Examination, a student has to submit a TEE form before the due dates as per the prescribed format given in the Schedule of operations. Examination Center Code may be verified from IGNOU website. The TEE will be held at designated IGNOU Centres. If a student misses any term-end examination of a course for any reason, he/she may appear for any of them or all the papers in the subsequent term-end examinations. This facility will be available until a student secures the minimum pass grade in the courses but up to a maximum period of three semesters from the date of registration of the course. Beyond this period he/she may continue for another three semesters by getting Re-admission by paying fee again. In that case the score of qualified assignments and/or term-end examination will be retained and the students will be required to complete the left out requirements of such re-registered courses. For the TEE, a student is allowed to appear in not more than 8 courses at a time. Hence students are advised not to keep any modules backlog.
[17]
Grading Scheme: Letter grade system is used for grading continuous and term-end examination components. These letter grades are: A = Excellent B = Very Good C = Good D = Satisfactory E = Unsatisfactory For successfully qualifying in a course, a student will have to obtain at least D grade in both continuous and term-end examination. However, the overall average should be at least C grade for both the successful components of a course. Following is the system of converting the overall letter grades to percentage equivalents. A = 80% and Above B = 60% to 79.9% C = 50% to 59.9% D = 40% to 49.9% E = Below 40% Modalities of submission of assignments and appearing in term-end examinations are given in Annexure.

Candidates going on break carry the following risks:
The next batch timings / Days of the batch / Duration may be different from the current batch
The program contents / curriculum / methodology may be different from the current batch
Normally the candidate is expected to join the batch at the point where he has discontinued. However in some cases candidate may have to repeat some of the courses due to change in the order of sequence / or curriculum

There will be no new study material provided for the previous modules

It is the responsibility of the student to keep in touch with the study centre to know the next batch start date
