Aims and scopeSOIL is a not-for-profit international scientific jour-nal dedicated to the publication and discussion ofhigh-quality research in the field of soil system sci-ences. SOIL is at the interface between the atmos-phere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.SOIL publishes scientific research that contrib-utes to understanding the soil system and its inter-actionwithhumansandtheentireEarthsystem.Thescopeofthejournalincludesalltopicsthatfallwithinthestudyofsoilscienceasadiscipline,withanemphasisonstudiesthatintegratesoilsciencewithothersciences(hydrology, agronomy, socio-economics, health scien-ces,atmosphericsciences,etc.).The followingmanuscript types can be considered forpublication in SOIL: original research articles, reviewarticles,shortcommunications,forumarticles,andletterstotheeditors.
