Aims and scopeSOIL is an international scientific journal dedicated tothepublicationanddiscussionofhigh-qualityresearchinthefieldofsoilsystemsciences.SOILisattheinterfacebetweentheatmosphere,lithosphere,hydrosphere,andbiosphere.SOILpublishesscientific research thatcon-tributestounderstandingthesoilsystemanditsinter-actionwithhumansandtheentireEarthsystem.Thescopeofthejournalincludesalltopicsthatfallwithinthestudyofsoilscienceasadiscipline,withanemphasisonstudiesthatintegratesoilsciencewithothersciences(hydrology, agronomy, socio-economics, health scien-ces,atmosphericsciences,etc.).The followingmanuscript types can be considered forpublication in SOIL: original research articles, reviewarticles,shortcommunications,forumarticles,andletterstotheeditors.
