Ordered, That following Leader remarks on Thursday, February 28, 2019, the Senate proceed to
executive session and resume consideration of the nomination of Andrew Wheeler, of Virginia, to be Administrator
of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Ordered further, That at 12:30 p.m., notwithstanding the provisions of Rule XXII, all post-cloture time
on the Wheeler nomination be considered expired, with the time between 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. equally divided
in the usual form; that if confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table, and the
President be immediately notified of the Senate’s actions.
Ordered further, That following disposition of the Wheeler nomination, the Senate resume consideration
of the nomination of John L. Ryder, of Tennessee, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee
Valley Authority for a term expiring May 18, 2021, with the time until 1:45 p.m. equally divided between the two
Leaders or their designees.
Ordered further, That at 1:45 p.m., the Senate vote on the Ryder nomination with no intervening action
or debate; that if confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table and the President
be immediately notified of the Senate’s actions. (Feb. 27, 2019.)
