Large lodges and nomadic village The large lodges : The main buildings of this old Auge region farm date from the 16th and 17th centuries. It had its own cider press, a long barn for storing fodder and grain, stables and a distillery for making the celebrated Calvados. These four buildings, which are typical of the rural Norman landscape, have been transformed into large lodges full of character: they are comfortable, spacious and fully equipped for your family reunions, weddings, parties, holidays, seminars and school trips. The rural cottages : The old outbuildings have become the “annexes” of our Large Lodges and are situated in the Stables and the Distillery. They can be rented for single nights as a supplement to the Cider Press and the Barn, or on their own for a week, a weekend or for a month of holidays. The nomadic village : Beyond ever-changing fashions, the yurt village will allow you to enjoy a fully ecological stay with solar-heated water, cooking over a wood fire, dry toilets and solar-panel powered electricity for recharging your electrical equipment. A small windmill complements the electricity supply. Live amongst the farm animals along the river and enjoy nature to the full. Enjoy Nature to the full, live the country life !

Large lodges and nomadic village

The large lodges :The main buildings of this old Auge region farm date from the 16th and 17th centuries. It had its own cider press, a long barn for storing fodder and grain,

stables and a distillery for making the celebrated Calvados. These four buildings, which are typical of the rural Norman landscape, have been transformed into large lodges full of

character: they are comfortable, spacious and fully equipped for your family reunions, weddings, parties, holidays, seminars and school trips.

The rural cottages :The old outbuildings have become the “annexes” of our Large Lodges and are situated in the Stables and the Distillery. They can be rented for single nights as a supplement to the Cider Press and the

Barn, or on their own for a week, a weekend or for a month of holidays.

The nomadic village :Beyond ever-changing fashions, the yurt village will allow you to enjoy a fully ecological stay with solar-heated water, cooking over a wood fire, dry toilets and solar-panel powered electricity for recharging your electrical equipment.

A small windmill complements the electricity supply. Live amongst the farm animals along the river and enjoy nature to the full.

The animal farm :In the conservation farm we breed the full range of

domestic Norman animals which are currently lowin numbers and are protected by the conservation movement for animal and plant biodiversity.Over 500 metres of pathways will lead you past some twenty different breeds in enclosed fields and traditional buildings.

Numerous farm-related activities :Milk, wool, bread, kitchen garden, carriage stables, care and feeding of animals. We also offer other activities related to the environment: tracks and footprints, water, birds, marshlands, timber-framing and

cobbing, waste management, the river. Until the 50s most of these farms were self-sufficient: they produced virtually everything that was needed for the lifeof their inhabitants. We faithfully preserve the memory of these skills and we offer the general public (from the age of 2)

workshops where farm products are made and transformed.

The nature walk :Gaston the hedgehog will lead you on the Nature Walk along a marked 2 km circuit which is lined with interactive activity stations. These will allow you to rest and observe animal and plant life, and to enjoy the

beautiful landscape of the valley.Apart from the many birds, it is not uncommon to see deer and foxes.

A specialist guide is available for a fully commented walk (by appointment).
