at Blythswood square, we know how to get the party started in style. so much so that in 1955 the venue, then the home of the royal scottish automobile club, was one of eight official points of departure for the Monte carlo rally, a glamorous and exciting trans-European motoring event which at the time was open to all those daring enough to take part.

these days we are admittedly a little more Manolo Blahnik than Maserati, however in honour of the building’s illustrious heritage, the royal scottish automobile club’s rally Bar has been restored to its former glory – using the original wood panelled walls and fireplace, no less. available for private hire, the rally Bar complements the chic Monte carlo suites for larger parties, and is perfectly suited to cocktail masterclasses, champagne tastings and refined sporting celebrations.
