Overview of the 2017-2018

School Year

The 2017-2018 was full of exciting events.

We kicked off the semester with the American

Indian/Alaskan Native Student Welcome Back event

and ended the school year with a recognition

celebration, recognizing all of our AI/AN students

and their accomplishments. We had eleven

students graduate this past 2017-2018 school year.

Many of them are transferring to the CSU or UC

system or are going out into the work force. We are

very proud of all our graduates and continuing

students. CONGRATULATIONS Class of 2018!

The Native American Club had another

busy year with events they put on or participated

in. The club had another successful Indian Taco sale

that helped raise funds for club activities and to

purchase t-shirts. They also went on a few field

trips. Maria Roman, club advisor, took several

students to the World Ag Expo in Tulare and the

Fresno City Pow Wow.
