The image used for my contents page was of anornamental glass mushroom placed on top of a red andblue light (the same lights used for my cover) whichgive the image a bright and colourful glowing eectespecially in contrast to the black background the

image relates to psychedelic mushrooms, popular inpsychedelic culture, which denotes to the idea that themagaine is the beginning of a trip and a source ofknowledge! The blue circle around the central imagecontrasts again with the black background and draws

more attention to it! The word conte"t warps aroundthe shape of the image in the same aesthetic style aspsychedelic fonts!

Another convention I have used is pufs. Iused an advertisement in a large pink boxwith yellow text to contrast with the blackbackground and place a lot o ocus on it

particularly as the scale o both the text andthe box are so large.

I used a pull quote in next to theeature article coverline to give urtherocus and insight into what is said

within the article. The text is layered in colours red! blue! green! white tocreate a blurred efect which connotesto bright colours o psychedelic culture.
