INTRODUCTION

Women empowerment refers to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decisions of their own for their personal benefits as well as for the society.

Our topic, brings forth this worldwide issue. We aim to help spread awareness to respect them and do our best to make people aware and realize the true strength of the female gender.

WHEN WE INTERVIEWED MRS. PREETA DESHMUKH

Mrs. Preeta said that there are many advantages which come with being employed and did believe that there has been a lot of change in the status of women over the past few years.

Women are benificial to the society.

Women are often treated equally and are safe at workplaces.

WHEN WE INTERVIEWED MR. PRAVEEN DESHMUKH

Women empowerment means giving them the voice and confidence to face the world.

We should give equal opportunities, support, value them to empower them.

Status of women in India is improving drastically in all fields of life and is coping up with the change in the status of women in other countries.

WHEN WE INTERVIEWED MRS. ARCHANA DHANPAWDE

Mrs. Archana Dhanpawde found that the status of women had improved greatly as earlier they used to be married off but now, because of education they can make their own choices.

She prefers education over traditional knowledge to get a good job and to live life on their own terms.

WHEN WE INTERVIEWED MRS. RUCHI TANDON

Women empowerment means giving liberty to women to make their own decisions.

She believes that the society is actually run by women as she teaches and nurtures the children.

Men should broaden their mindset and not discriminate between the two genders but women are showcasing their talents more.

WHEN WE INTERVIEWED MRS. SREEKALA NAIR

Women empowerment means to provide ample support to make women self-sufficient.

She thinks that women are not treated equally with men but believes that there are slight changes in women empowerment.

Eg- Even in the film industry, actors are paid more than actresses.

To give the same socio-economic status to women.

Does not believe that men and women are yet treated equally, as they are given less pay.

Small but significant changes are taking place.

When you educate a man, you educate an individual. But, when you educate a woman, you educate a family.

Women are treated equally in some aspects of life, like teaching.

Daughters should learn to be self-reliant, independent and should develop a good personality.

The outlook of the society towards women for equality is changing.

The true power of empowerment lies is in being educated and becoming capable.

Respect for women has increased in India.

Decisions are taken by both the parents in the household depending on the situation.

A women should have the power to express herself freely.

In India, women and men are not treated that equally but steps have been taken to ensure this.

The women do not usually have right over property after marriage.

Expectations of the society concerning family and household on the women, pressurizing them.

CONCLUSION

After interviewing people of a variety of age groups and contrasting ideals from different walks of life, we have received the opinion that there are changes happening to empower the position of women all around the world, but more needs to be done to ensure the
