• DEST training Web-based Taxonomy and Biodiversity Information Processing• ~ 100.000 multimedia files supplied to OpenUp!, also available in GBIF and BioCASe networks• Assisting Naturalis in making their multimedia files available in OpenUp!• Software development and support for Catalogue of Life in i4Life, tools used by GBIF and other global partners• Hosting for NLBIF, UgaBIF• Development of Linnaeus NG, a CMS for species-level information and mobile keys• Mobile key development for iPhone and Android platforms

• Running the Catalogue of Life Services and Secretariat in Naturalis• Creating an IT services bus for Naturalis• Migrating ~200 databases to a central specimen registration system (CRS) in Naturalis• Assisting Naturalis with changes in the ICT department, • Movement of websites and portals to Linnaeus NG, Cybertaxonomy platform and Drupal• Continued development of Mobile Keys and BioPortal• Continued Node activities within Naturalis
