Easter Sunday: Youth Ministry Sunday School will meet as usual from 11:00am – 12:00pm in the youth room. There will be NO Sunday Night Program on Easter Sunday so you can spend time with your family and friends. Concert – Sunday April 27 at 3 pm A variety of Broadway and classical pieces by local professionals, Otis French, euphonium, Marta Oberlin, clarinet, and Sara Ferguson, soprano, in solo and ensemble with our Andy, Joe, and Pauline. “Friends” and Business sponsor ad forms are on the church website.A table in Fellowship Hall also has ad forms, fliers to share and post, and sign-up sheets for helpers. Admission is free. An offering will be collected and donated to Family Promise.

1. Pray that we have good weather and successful sign-ups for those willing to walk 1 hour that Sunday as an alternative to traveling to Long Pond.
2. Pray that a team of people will walk from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. around the local area and ESU campus with Kathy.
3. Pray that a team of people will walk with Tom and Kathy from 12:15 - 1:15 p.m. around the local area and ESU campus.

Thank you!Members of ESUMC who no longer are able to attend church recently received plates of Easter cookies and a lovely decorated cross. Thank you to Elizabeth Meehan and her craft team who made the crosses, Sarah Kuhnle who made the name tags, all who baked cookies, assembled the plates, and delivered them. Your wonderful team work brought many joyous smiles to those who sometimes feel forgotten!
Stephen Ministry
Although they participate in Stephen Ministry because of a desire to serve others, Stephen Ministers also experience personal growth. Hear the testimony of one of ESUMC’s Stephen

I have seen God transform a care receiver through prayer. Ministering to one who is experiencing the difficulties of life is a joyful experience. Pregnancy Resource Center - Baby Bottle Boomerang! Your spare change can spare a baby’s life, a woman’s heartache, a man’s stress! Beginning today through Mother’s Day weekend you can pick-up a bottle at the
designated table in Fellowship Hall. Fill it with change, cash, or a check payable to PRCP, and return it by Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15th. Help PRCP support families in crisis pregnancies and share our hope and love we have in Christ!

There is a Special Charge Conference called for Sunday, May 18th at 12:15 p.m. for the purpose of voting on Scott Kuhnle as a candidate for Ordained Ministry. Pastor Kimes will serve as the Presiding Elder. Only full professing Members can vote.Merry Marthas & MistersThe next meeting of the Merry Marthas, & Misters will be Friday, April 25th at 6:30 p.m. In this session we will learn how to make pretzels. We will be leaving Sunday afternoon on April 27th and coming back Friday, May 2nd or Saturday, May 3rd. The cost of the trip is $150 per person. Thank you to all who have expressed your sympathy to Pauline and me in the loss of my Mother. We consider that
we were blessed to have her in our lives for so long. She would have been 96 in June. Though she will be surely missed, we do not grieve. We recently sang in worship, "And when my work on earth is done, I'll sing on, I'll sing on..." She is singing on! Norm FoxThank you for all the cards, prayers, and support during my recent recovery from surgery. It certainly made the healing go lots faster!

Youth Ministry Golf Outing Fundraiser: Saturday, April 26th 5:00 pm, the ESUMC youth will host a 9-hole scramble at Glenbrook Golf Course in Stroudsburg. Registration is from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Cost is $30 per person with all profits going to ESUMC Youth summer mission trips and retreats. You can register a team of 4, a single, or anything in between by emailing Scott Kuhnle ([email protected]). Thank you for your support of ESUMC youth ministry! Youth Summer Mission Trip Participants:Your second payment of $120 is due by Sunday, May 4th. Discounted Pricing for Mission Trips: News about discounted pricing due to year round fundraisers will be coming out after the youth ministry golf outing on Sunday, April 26th.

Foundations Christian Preschool Foundations Christian Preschool, located in the lower level of the church, is currently accepting registrations for the 2014-15 school year. Registration forms are available at the Welcome Center in Oberholtzer Hall or the church office. Vacation Bible SchoolAre you sick of winter? Then get away to a tropical island - Son Treasure Island! Vacation Bible School will take place July 7th-11th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon. Mark your calendar and make a reservation to visit Son Treasure Island in July.
