Located in La Pampa Province in central Argentina, El Carrizal

has 10,000 acres of dense forests of calden trees, lagoons,

marshes and agricultural fields that produce the best free range

red stag trophies in Argentina. High red deer concentrations

during the rut (March-May) result in intense and dramatic roaring.

In addition to red stag, El Carrizal is home to several herds of

Asian water buffalo that roam the lagoons and the dense bush

that surrounds them offering heart stopping close range stalks to

these magnificent animals that can weigh over a ton.

Huge European wild boars can be found throughout the

property. Boars are hunted European style: from

elevated blinds or “hochsitz”. El Carrizal has a dozen

blinds strategically located over fields and water holes.

High volume dove shooting is available in the property

and on neighboring ranches year round. An afternoon or

two of hot barrel dove shooting can be easily added to

your big game hunt. In the area there is also excellent

duck, pigeon and perdiz shooting making La Pampa the

perfect destination for combined bird hunts.

El Carrizal has a newly built 12 bedroom lodge offering

world-class accommodations. The beautiful lodge is perched

on a hilltop providing a commanding view of the lagoons and

forests below. All bedrooms have private restrooms. The lodge

has two gorgeous fireplaces, bar, dining room, central heating,

internet access, Direct TV and all the amenities to make your

stay a memorable one. Hunters will also enjoy gourmet meals

and the best Argentinean wines.

Axis and fallow deer, blackbuck antelope, multi horned

sheep, mouflon, feral goats and the stealth mountain

lion or puma are also found in good numbers.
