Suzhou Laishi Transfusion Equipment Co., Ltd (LAISHI) became an independent company in 1992 , with a root going back to 1960s with founding of transfusion Laboratories under Shanghai Blood Center. It is aiming to protect the safety of blood transfusion by developing medical devices and disposable materials such as blood bag, transfusion set, in-line leukocyte filter system, and plasma virus-inactivation system, it is jontly invested by Suzhou Qitian Transfusion Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Blood Center, and U.S. Rare Antibody Antigen System Co., Ltd. In China, LAISHI developed the first flexible, disposable container for blood collection, eliminating complications associated with glass containers and allowing blood to be separated into therapeutic components. PRODUCTS INTRODUCTION: BLOOD BAG

Disposable plastic blood bag mainly compose collection bag, satellite bags and relevant anticoagulant. Single blood bag is used for collection, preservation and transfusion of whole blood. Multi-blood bag is mainly used for collecting whole blood

and for separation, preservation and transfusion of red blood cell, plasma and platelet.

IN-LINE LEUKOCYTE FILTER SYSTEM

Disposable blood bag with integrated WBC filters is designed for preparing blood components without leukocyte in blood bank or blood center. Its primary function is for reducing the white blood cells in whole blood or red blood cell concentrates, preventing lots of ill-reaction in transfusion

and reducing implant-anti-host and virus-infected diseases from non-self’s white blood cells.

PLASMA VIRUS-INACTIVATION SYSTEM

Plasma is a blood component of large clinical demand with high virus risk. The reliable way of preventing and reducing the transfusion-associated virus infection is to inactive the virus in plasma. Methylene blue (MB) photo-inactivation of plasma is a method that effectively removes any intracellular potentially infectious agent,

such as prions, on a single unit of plasma, especially better effect on HBV, HCV, and HIV.
