In addition, 25 percent of funds collected remains in our diocese to fund local anti-poverty pro-jects. Please prayerfully consider how you can support this collection and work on the margins. More information about the Catholic Cam-paign for Human Development can be found at www.usccb.org/cchd/collection.

THANKSGIVING MASS SCHEDULE

Wednesday, November 21 6pm Vigil Mass Thursday, November 22 8 am Mass Friday, November 23 7 am Mass

Our Thanksgiving Vigil Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday,

November 21st at 6:00 pm. We invite you to join us as we thank God for the many blessings he has bestowed on us.

The Parish Office will close at noon on Wednesday, November

REEDUCATION FOR PEACE

People must not be content simply to support the efforts of oth-ers in the work for peace; they must also scrutinize their own attitudes. Statesmen, responsible as they are for the common good of their own nation and at the same time for the well-being of the whole world, are very much dependent on the opinions and convictions of the general public. Their efforts to secure peace are of no avail as long as people are divided or set against each other by feeling of hostility, contempt and distrust, by racial hatred or by inflexible ideologies. There is then a very great and urgent need to reeducate people and to provide fresh inspiration in the field of public opinion.

MASS REQUEST FORMS We ask that anyone having masses said for DECEASED loved ones, please use a BLUE “Mass Request Form” that can be found in the back of church. A calendar is provided on the back for your conven-ience. Please write the date, time and names of the deceased along with your name and phone number at the top. We will call you if we have questions. Masses can only be scheduled for the year 2019. You can mail your form, or drop it in the collection marked “Masses.” Thank you again for your help and understanding. If you have any questions please call the Parish Office at 537-6002 ext. 200.
