This past November, I said an inconceivable goodbye to the love of my life, Naomi, the mother of my six children, who passed away suddenly leaving us stunned, wondering how

we will go on. She was our beacon of light, the guiding force of our family, my Eshet Chayil.

We are left with a vast void but that is only because Naomi accomplished so much in her short life. Naomi was truly a woman of Chesed, a person who cared deeply about her

community and was a leader in so many ways. Her role as the Yeshivah’s Ladies Auxiliary President was an honor for her and a serious responsibility she did not take lightly. Her life was

committed to supporting the well-being of children both here and in Israel.

Naomi, the children and I miss you every moment of the day, but your memory brings us much comfort. As we struggle to get through our daily lives I want to thank our incredible

families and our wonderful community for sustaining us through this very difficult time.

Naomi was one of a kind, and she is gone, but her memory lives with us forever.

We learn from those who preceded us and teach those who will succeed us.

Our current successes are thanks to those who have selflessly dedicated themselves to our Yeshivah.

Like the rings of a tree, each circle expands around the previous one.

Each generation enlarges the circle by building upon what is bestowed upon them.

The Yeshivah of Flatbush has the unique task of educating the next ring in the circle.
