The statue of the Blessed Mother which stands on the top of our Church

main Dome will be restored and Gold plated during the Month of July

and August 2014. When restored She will be displayed in our Church for

one Sunday at the beginning of September 2014. We'll let you know later

which Sunday it will be.

IC Church Restoration

We are celebrating the Centennial of

Immaculate Conception Ukrainian

Catholic Parish. The cornerstone of our

first Church in Hamtramck was blessed

on December 25, 1913, and the building

was completed and blessed in 1914.

Therefore, it is fitting for us to cele-

brate this very important milestone

of our Ukrainian-America Community

in 2014.

To preserve Immaculate Conception

Ukrainian Catholic Church, its beauti-

ful icons, murals, paintings, and the

artistry of Mr. Mychajlo Dmytrenko is

the responsibility of our Parishioners

and our Detroit Ukrainian-American

community. Working together, we will

secure our beautiful Church for future

generations. Here they will be baptized, have their first

communion, have their marriage blessed, and receive their

final blessing at the time appointed by God.

At this time, we are reinitiating the fundraising cam-

paign for the Third Phase of the IC Church restoration

project. We ask you to once again be zealous and generous

in your donations. The estimated cost of this next phase is

$175,000. It is a significant cost. As was the case with the

first phase of this project, it is achievable if we all do our

part.

we ask you to consider making another effort, another

sacrifice, and help us restore our beautiful Church. This will

help to preserve a historic place of worship for future gener-

ations of Ukrainian-American families in the metropolitan

Detroit area.

The Sponsor a Child Program

Since December, 2008, our "Sponsor a Child Program" raised over

$100, 000.00. We are grateful to all our donors for their honorable

deeds. This program was created to help the children whose families

cannot afford our school tuition. It has particularly helped the new

families coming from Ukraine but also American families who lost

Літний Табір Українських Шкіл Непорочного Зачаття

З радістю повідомляємо про успішне завершення сезону дитячого літнього табору під

назвою "Кольори літньої веселки", який діяв при Українській Католицькій Школі

Непорочного Зачаття для дітей української громади. За три тижні табору у шкільний

фонд було перераховано $4027 доларів. Організатори і таборовики сердечно дякують

усім нашим випускникам школи: Оксані Дубовській, Марті Залівській, Анастазії

Новачинській, Ларисі Ноні та Данусі Шерстило за допомогу під час табору і зичуть

усім здорового, щасливого і приємного літа!
