Thank You for a Wonderful 2019 and Happy Holidays I would like to congratulate the students, staff, parents and community of Ermington PS for such a successful 2019 school year. It has been wonderful to work alongside such an active school community who work so proactively and enthusiastically to improve the school for the students. Thank you to Mrs Vicki Tanner who has worked tirelessly this year as P&C President. Many thanks to the wonderful P&C and the remarkable volunteer base that has supported the school in so many initiatives. Many volunteers will be sorely missed next year as their children embark on a new journey at High School. Thank you for your contributions to Ermington PS. Leaving EPS in 2020 Please inform the school if you will not be returning to EPS in 2020 or will not be in attendance at the commencement of the 2020 school year due to extended travel arrangements or other circumstances. Kindergarten It’s hard to believe that Kindergarten have made it through their first year of school! They have been incredibly brave, determined and resilient learners. Each week they challenged themselves in many ways, in all aspect of school life. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers for your continued support throughout the year. We really have been fortunate to form a partnership that has allowed all children to achieve great things. We are extremely proud of each and every student, who managed to put a smile on our faces every day. Merry Christmas and all the best for a wonderful holiday break. Mrs MacKenzie and Miss Scott

Stage 1 This week was a busy week for Stage 1. On Thursday students had their K-2 Christmas Assembly where all year groups performed a Christmas carol. On Friday Stage 1 were off to the Koala Park Sanctuary. Stage 1 had a fantastic time with the animals. Students got to pat goats, lambs, koalas and kangaroos. We want to thank all the Stage 1 families for a fantastic year, and we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

2019 Student Reflections

The murals make our school brighter.

The Ermo signs help us understand the rules for that area.

We like how areas are named in our school (Wombat Burrow, Ermo’s playground and Dingos den etc)

We like how they put up posters for what would be better for your wellbeing while learning.

We like the hard plastic, return and Earn and food scrap bins

The new tables are more colourful and cleaner for us to sit at

We like how the teachers decorate the school for different occasions.

Our school is becoming a better and safer place to learn and play! By Chloe & Stella Christian Community Aid cans and toiletries donations Thank you to the students who brought in cans and toiletries. Christian Community Aid picked up the school’s donations this morning and will make up Christmas gift hampers for family in need in our community. PSSA Congratulations to our girls' and boys' softball teams who won the grand final last Friday. The games were very entertaining and fortunately for the coach's and onlookers' nerves, they won convincingly. Unfortunately the volley ball team just missed out on victory but being runners up is a wonderful achievement.
