Who We AreEquilibria are personality diversity experts. Personality diversity is the understanding that we don’t all think and act the same and that we have different behavioral tendencies, communication styles, strengths and limiters linked to our personality.

We have more than a decade of experience in understanding how to embrace and leverage the diversity of thought that exists between human beings and how to harness that diversity to elevate personal, professional and organizational performance.

Founded in 2004 by four individuals from the Oil & Gas industry, Equilibria has grown to become a global organization, with close to 80 coaches across six continents.

What We DoWe coach organizations and individuals to understand and apply our proprietary Personality Diversity Indicator (PDI) to reduce errors, minimize risk and enhance overall human performance.

Application of the PDI through our core coaching tools, the E-Colors and Personal Intervention, heightens awareness and improves communication, leadership, teamwork and safety by enabling individuals to become less reactive and more responsive and to live and lead with conscious intent.

This simple yet highly effective tool heightens our awareness to different personality styles, communication styles and behavioral tendencies. Equilibria uses the brain as a conceptual model to highlight the different personality styles.

We employ four primary colors to represent each of the four main personality quadrants:

The questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and at the end of it you will be presented with a Pie Chart showing your E-Colors percentages and a Personality Report. Since 2004, more than half a million people have taken the PDI.

Personal Intervention is a tool that promotes intentional self-management based on the understanding that a measured response driven by character is likely to get you a better result than a knee-jerk reaction driven by personality.

Equilibria use the iceberg metaphor to differentiate between personality and character. Personality is a small but important part of who we are. Our character runs much deeper and encompasses our background, beliefs, life experiences, and other things depicted in the model below:
