LPIS maintenance (2005-2009) Around 40.000 modifications per year resolved by photointerpretation.

Image costs:• 0€/ parcel in the case of public (free) images of ICC (DMC)• 3€/ parcel in the case of ordered to ICC (DMC)• 7€/ parcel in the case of images with UAV *

* This cost could be highly reduced in case of wider areas ordered

Personnel costs:• Check with aerial photograph in the office;

200 parcels/day = 0,55 €/parcel• Visit to specific parcels ( less than 9%) when images are not clear enough.

Considering that most of the images are provided by ICC, we can estimate that the cost of this new procedure for photo interpretation is approximately 3,5 €/parcelvs. 10,3 €/parcel on “in situ” system.
