l The eNodeB LMT is mainly used to help Commsioning the eNodeB, locally locate faults,


and clear faults.l You can operate and maintain the eNodeB through the LMT in the following scenarios:

p When the transmission between the eNodeB and the M2000 is unavailable, youcan Commsioning the eNodeB through the LMT.

p When the communication between the eNodeB and the M2000 fails, you canlocate and clear faults through the LMT.

p When alarms are generated on the eNodeB and related boards need to bereplaced locally, you can locate and clear faults through the LMT.

l Prerequisite


p Before using the LMT, you must install the JAVA Platform Standard EditionRuntime Environment (JRE) plug-in of jre-6u11-windows-i586 or a later versionin the computer configured with the LMT. The JRE plug-in is a standard Javaruntime environment plug-in, which can be downloaded from http://java.com/or htt p://support.huawei.com/ . If the plug-in is not installed in the computer,the system prompts you to install it during login.

p If the installed plug-in is not the latest version, the system prompts you toupgrade it during login. You are advised to uninstall the existing version beforeinstalling the latest version.

p If you fail to log in to the LMT after the plug-in is upgraded to the latestversion, restart the browser and then log in.

l Logging to eNodeB procedure:1. Open IE browser, input the local OM IP address, The default IP address is

192.168.0.49, press Enter.2. Set User Name, Password, and Verify Code. Set User Type to Local. Click

l M2000 client online installation procedure:


1. Open IE browser, input the http://M2000 server IP/cau, press Enter, aonline installation window display.

AvailabilityStatus

Indicates the physical operation status of the board, which can beUninstalled, Starting up, Normal, Inconsistent, Unconfigured,Power off, Fault, Communication lost, In test, or the combinationof various states. For example, if a board is not configured andfails to communicate with the main control and transmissionboard, the physical operation status of the board is Unconfigured,Communication lost.

Operational

State

Indicates the operational state of the board, which can be set toEnabled or Disabled. Enabled indicates that services can be

carried on the board. Disabled indicates that no service can becarried on the board.

Alarm Status Indicates the alarm status.

Administrative state

Indicates the administrative state of the board. The administrativestate of the board can be blocked, unblocked, or shutting down.

StandbyStatus

Indicates the active/standby state. Active indicates that the boardworks in active mode, and Standby indicates that the board worksin standby mode.

Cabinet No. Indicates the cabinet number of the board.

Slot No. Indicates the slot number of the board.

SubrackNo. Indicates the subrack number of the board.

Board type Indicates the type of the board. This parameter is the logical type instead ofthe physical type of the board.

Administrative state

Indicates the administrative state of the board. The administrative state ofthe board can be blocked, unblocked, or shutting down. For details, see ITU-T X.731.

l VSWR, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio


l Start VSWR Test (STR VSWRTEST)p Use this command to start a VSWR test, which is a high-precision VSWR test.

The test result shows only the standing wave ratio of the antenna port on topof the cabinet. To obtain more details about the standing wave, run the DSPVSWR command.

l Display VSWR Test Result (DSP VSWR)p Use this command to query the current VSWR of the antenna. The query result

of multiple antenna ports contains only the VSWRs of the antenna ports on topof the cabinet. The query result of a specified antenna port of a specified RRUcontains the VSWR of the antenna port on top of the cabinet, other highestVSWRs of the feeder, and the distance from the positions of the highest VSWRson the feeder to the antenna port on top of the cabinet. A maximum of sixhighest VSWRs on the feeder are contained in the query result.

Field Description


.Port No. Indicates the port number.

Route Type

Indicates the type of route. If this parameter is set to NEXTHOP, all the IPpackets that meet the route direction are first forwarded to the specified next

hop IP address. If this parameter is set to IF, all the IP packets that meet theroute direction are first forwarded to the specified egress port.

Destination IP Indicates the destination IP address of the route.

MaskIndicates the destination subnet mask of the route. During the parametersetting, the following condition must be met: In the binary value to which thedestination subnet mask is converted, 0 is not allowed to precede 1.

Next Hop IP Indicates the IP address of the next hop.

Preference Indicates the priority of the routing table entry. A smaller parameter valuedenotes a higher priority.

Protocol

Indicates the type of routing table for a static IP route. A static host route is amanually configured route whose subnet mask is 255.255.255.255. A staticgateway route is a manually configured route whose subnet mask is not255.255.255.255 and whose next hop IP address and egress port IP addressare on different network segments. A dynamic host route is a dynamicallyacquired route whose subnet mask is 255.255.255.255. A dynamic gatewayroute is a dynamically acquired route whose subnet mask is not255.255.255.255 and whose next hop IP address and egress port IP addressare on different network segments.

l Traceroute sends a sequence of Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP)


packets addressed to a destination host. Tracing the intermediate routerstraversed involves control of the time-to-live (TTL) Internet Protocol parameter.Routers decrement this parameter and discard a packet when the TTL value hasreached zero, returning an ICMP error message (ICMP Time Exceeded) to the

sender.l Traceroute works by increasing the TTL value of each successive batch of packets

sent. The first three packets sent have a time-to-live (TTL) value of one, expectingthat they are not forwarded by the first router. The next three packets have a TTLvalue of 2, so that the second router will send the error reply. This continues untilthe destination host receives the packets and returns an ICMP Echo Replymessage.

l The traceroute utility uses the returning ICMP messages to produce a list of hoststhat the packets have traversed in transit to the destination. The three timestampvalues returned for each host along the path are the delay (aka latency) values,typically measured in milliseconds for each packet in the batch.

Field Description

Local cell identity Indicates the local ID of the cell. It uniquely identifies a cell within aBS.

Cell instance state Indicates the state of the cell instance.

Cell latest avail stateIndicates the latest available information of the cell, including thereason of the cell setup failure and the information of the successfulcell activation.

Cell power save stateIndicates the energy saving status of the cell. There are four states:RF intelligent shutdown, cell intelligent shutdown, low powerconsumption mode, and automatic power-off at a specified time.

Bbi slot Indicates the slot number of the baseband processing board wherethe cell is configured.

Cell topo type Indicates the topology of the cell. Such as Ring or Chain topology

RRU0 subrack number Indicates the subrack number of RRU0 used by the cell. The value255 indicates that the cell does not use RRU0.

RRU1 subrack number Indicates the subrack number of RRU1 used by the cell. The value255 indicates that the cell does not use RRU1.

l Use this command to block a cell.


l When a cell is blocked in high priority, the cell is deactivated immediately. When a cellis blocked in medium priority, the cell is deactivated immediately if no subscriberaccesses the cell in the duration specified for blocking of medium priority, or if anysubscriber accesses the cell in the duration specified for blocking of medium priority thecell is deactivated after the duration specified for blocking of medium priority expires.When a cell is blocked in low priority, the cell is deactivated when no subscriberaccesses the cell.

l The function of BLK CELL (CELL_HIGH_BLOCK) is same with DEA CELL.
