As a leader, your most important job is to help others succeed. Part of this role includes leading by example. If the people around you see you taking actions that are effective and honorable, they will act accordingly. If the example you set is one without accountability or constant improvement, they will not feel the need to be accountable or to continue to improve themselves. A few simple phrases to keep in mind as you live and work with the people around you, that will set a good example and increase the success of your day-to-day leadership skills include: Leaders go first Walk the walk Demonstrate respect Be transparent Trust and be trustworthy Continue to get better Practice accountability Deliver results Right wrongs Be the leader who arrives early and prepared, is honest and motiviated, shows appreciation of and consideration for others, makes good business decisions that improve your company or working and personal relationships, acknowledges mistakes, and people will follow not only your example, but YOU. Portray what you expect.

As a leader, your most important job is to helpothers succeed. Part of this role includes leading byexample. If the people around you see you takingactions that are effective and honorable, they will actaccordingly. If the example you set is one withoutaccountability or constant improvement, they will notfeel the need to be accountable or to continue toimprove themselves.

A few simple phrases to keep in mind as you live and workwith the people around you, that will set a good exampleand increase the success of your day-to-day leadershipskills include:
