TEACHING METHODOLOGY

� Aspects of the English language willbe introduced and then practisedwith activities in a medical context.

� Then the language will be furtherpractised in listening and writingactivities involving medicaldocuments.

� Further to this reading skills aimedat matching the skills required tounderstand a range of medical textsincluding hospital documents,medical textbooks, referencematerials and articles will becovered.

� Case histories and different forms oftreatment will be investigated anddiscussed.

LISTENING TASKS

ALL LISTENING ACTIVIES ARE HIGHLYINTERACTIVE ALLOWING FOR INPUT ANDDISCUSSION REGARDING MEDICAL MATTERS.
