However, the technology to use the CD can cost students a lot of money, because they need to own a laptop to use it. Yet, one big advantage of every student buying a laptop is that they will then have access to standard software. With this software they can complete homework assignments and use the internet to do research.

Reading Question Type Two Example: (Specific Details)

3 Ease of use is another factor to be considered. With a wireless network in place, students can access online sources from almost anywhere in the school or university. Students do not need to rely on books in the library to complete assignments. In addition, teachers may find themselves changing their method of teaching to best make use of the technology. However, for educational institutions to best use laptops, it is really important that technological support is constantly available. This support is needed to help both teachers and students, to maintain the equipment and to make sure that the wireless network is working efficiently.

Q. What is needed to make sure laptops are used effectively? (paragraph 3)

a. that teachers and students should look after their computersb. that librarians use the technology so students can do researchc. that help is available in case the technology goes wrong

The correct answer is C.
