In order for active student engagement to occur, teachers need to develop effective classroom management

routines.

rutinas de la clase.

Some Interesting Facts/Datos Interesantes

Students are not attentive to what is being said in a lecture 40% of the time.

Los alumnos no están atentos a lo que se esta diciendo en los momentos en que se le dicta clase oral el 40% del tiempo.

Students retain 70% of the information in the first ten minutes of a lecture but only 30% in the last ten minutes.
