Work History
Current job:
Operation engineer at TCI Sanmar (Trust Chemical Industries) (a Group Company of SANMAR-INDIA AT Port Said- Egypt) since June 2011.
Work as operation engineer in VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer) plant.
Pre-commissioning and commissioning of VCM plant Attending first startup of VCM plant. Operate the plant strictly as per the 'Standard operating
procedures' (SOP) and follow verbal or written instructions given by supervisor.
Making and preparing daily reports and rising to shift manager. Ability to start up all rotating equipment in plant. Check with control room about problems in the plant and cooperate
with mechanical and instrumentation department and try to solve it. Taking the right action immediately in case of any spillage of
chemicals materials noticed. Taking samples for laboratory analysis if requirement. Monitoring and maintaining pumps seal pot pressure and oil level. Ensuring the reading of standby Distillation columns (atmospheric,
vacuum and pressurized), Furnace (natural draft), Heat Exchangers (shell and tube), pumps and compressors.
Follow-up Works permit take Equipment/instrument out of service for maintenance and to take back in service after maintenance intervention.
Panel operation – controlling of all units on DCS module.
