Do you have experience working in CentralAmericaThe Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics throughgenerous funding from its Foundation is launching apilot project to develop a collection of free nutritioneducation resources for health practitioners workingin developing countries The first phase of thiscollection which will be available oneatrightPROorg will focus on Central America
To assess needs for materials and tools that wouldaid in the success of international medical missionsand humanitarian assistance efforts we are seekinginput from registered dietitian nutritionists registerednurses pediatricians family practitioners physicianassistants and other public health workers with fieldexperience in Central America
In addition respondents to this needs assessmentsurvey are invited to submit examples of materials(eg handouts posters visual aids) they havedeveloped or used in their nutrition education effortsSubmissions will remain the property of the originalsource and will be used by the Academy solely toinform and guide direction of the pilot project
