Moreover, what more will come to this room in the harsh winter or summer haze having to go through a long, bleak, dark and abandoned land?
For our part, it is true that our financial resources are very limited, but our love for
the MAVA is so great; our desire to spread the culture of art glass have them so ingrained; strong is our belief that this Museum is a nationally and internationally; as we think it is an assault on one of our municipal properties, we are using everything in our power to expose this abuse of power by our Mayor and has no other purpose than to serve as election propaganda in the face of next municipal elections.
For this we use the advantages dump that we provide social media to disseminate and publicize the current situation of our Museum.
Through Change.org we are collecting signatures in support of our just demands, so we encourage all our readers to also include your signature, share with friends our initiative and rolling upgrades to know that we are adding .
Cadena Ser echoed this request and I recorded an interview in which I stated my opinion about the nonsense which is the measure taken by our Mayor regarding the MAVA and my skepticism about the possibility that we get to present him firms that support our request.

Each time we have less exhibition space in our MAVA.
It all started at the beginning of this year that we just left.
The offices on the second floor of the museum, including the library, and a good part of the exhibition space were donated by our City to Madrid to set up a family meeting point.
The enormous impact that produced us that news was mitigated in part by the denial of staff of the private company that would develop the service, given the absence of minimum conditions for the proper performance of their work.
In the end everything was reduced to the installation of a Family Counseling developed by the NGO Association Trama Center, but the museum was left without offices or library.
If that was the ominous beginning of the year, the end was like

Protection of the rights recognized in this Act
TITLE IV
Management bodies of the rights recognized in the Act
Article 158 Commi-ssion on Intellectual Property
1. Intellectual Property Commission as a body of national scope for the exerci-se of the functions of mediation and arbi-tration, and safeguar-ding intellectual property rights assig-ned to this Act is
hereby created in the Ministry of Culture.
2. The Commission shall act through two sections.
The First Section shall act as mediation and arbitration assigned by this Act.
The Second Section shall, within the scope of the powers of the Ministry of Culture, for the protection of intellectual property rights against infrin-gement by the servi-ces responsible for the information society in the terms provided in Articles 8 and concordant Law 34/2002, of July 11, Services Information Society and Electronic
Commerce.
3. It is up to the First Section exercising the functions of mediation and arbitration in accordance with the following rules:
1.º In his mediation:
a) to collaborate in negotiations, following submission of the parties, if not succee-ded in concluding a contract with respect to matters directly related to the collective mana-gement of copyright, and for the autoriza-tion of cable distribution of a broadcast, for lack of agreement between the holders of intellectual property rights and cable distribution companies.

Yumiko Noda is one of
the main representatives
of the New Glass in your
country.
His name is essential

contemporary glass in

He studied art at the
University of Tama, Tokyo

For us humans, animals are
less intelligible than
members of our own species.
While it may seem a
divertimento, these animals
are to me abstract metaphors
designed to express certain
emotions, to generate a
particular mood.
At the same time, they are
less transparent than they
might be human
representations. ... ".
Marta has received important
awards in Paris, Sweden and
London.
He has exhibited regularly in
successive samples in Lorch
+ Seidl Gallery in Berlin, and
since 2011 one of his works
are on display at the Corning
Museum of Glass.

Klonowska Marta was born in
Warsaw in 1964.
He currently lives and works
in Düsseldorf.
Already during his studies at
the Academy of Fine Arts in
Wroclaw (Poland), and
followed later in Düsseldorf,
glass became his favorite
artistic medium.
Today it is known for its
numerous sculptures of dogs
representing four-legged
companions important
historical figures, capturing
their natural poses in colored
glass.
To the themes of his work,
the artist finds inspiration in
the paintings of the great
masters, in which pets
(mostly dogs), appear
alongside their masters,
acting almost as prestige
objects displayed as
synonymous with wealth and
power.

Glassblowers working
tirelessly to rescue Marrakech
mythical tea cups that for
decades have been on the
tables of many cafés in
Morocco and were about to
disappear.
With a long pipette, glass
blowers shape liquid after
passing through the furnace
and breath to breath, much or
little, in perspective, bubble
glass is transformed into glass.
Its fast and rhythmic
movements reflect the great
skill of these "glass artists"
than a few pieces of this
material create different cutting
patterns, cooked, cooled and,
if required, also varnished.
Two tons of recycled glass
each day merge into a huge
furnace, with an average
temperature of 1,800 degrees,
no rest day nor night.
"You can not stop because the
oven takes ten days on and off
ten in. Because the economic
cost would be enormous,"
says French businessman
Jean-Dominique Leymarie,
owner of the only factory of
glassblowers of vessels called
"beldi "(traditional local dialect)
remaining in Morocco.
Leymarie opened just three
months ago the factory within
the field of his own hotel,
located six kilometers from
Marrakech and overlooking the
Atlas Mountains.
Account businessman who
bought the glasses "beldi" to a
factory that produced in the
city of Casablanca, but in June
2013 the workshop, the last of
its kind remaining in Morocco,
closed its doors and
disappeared not only the
vessels, but also the
knowledge of a handful of
professionals skilled in this art.
"We studied the possibility of
buying the company but had
many debts and felt it was too
dangerous, so we decided to
open the factory here (in
Marrakech) with more modern
materials and facilities in line
with current safety standards,"
says Leymarie.
The new factory vessels
"beldi" employs a total of 60
people, including 35 blowers
rescued workshop
Casablanca, producing 15,000
glasses a day, and who are
can be seen through a window

Workshop nearby shop sells
glasses at prices ranging
between 100 and 160 dirhams
(about 9 and 15 euros) per
dozen.

direct it to a clientele that
appreciates the symbol" said
the French businessman.

to resist.

this Moroccan vessel, which
curiously never penetrate hard
at home, remains the right for a
national delicacies container:

The last alchemist air.
Two thousand years of Syrian
handicrafts are about to
disappear with the last glass
blower.
Just outside the Christian quarter
of Bab Sharki and fully clearing
the Beit el Azaz (glass house in
Arabic) factory stands between
military posts.
It is the last country in which this
ancient craft occurs.
The family business that sat in
Damascus Salim the early 1800s
Azaz die with her grandson

twenty centuries of tradition.
"Do not be fourth generation of
glass blowers in the family," he
laments.
"None of my three children work
on this. It is a very thankless job
with long hours and little income.

The art of glass blowing was
born in Syria in the last century
before Christ, and when the
great-grandchildren of Salim el

wore only white glass and only
produced lamps and jugs.

Evaristo Bellotti presented in
the exhibition Fractions
MAVA 2012/2014, a set of
works grouped in series,
usual work of the artist.
María Antonia de Castro, art
critic and connoisseur of the
work of Bellotti in a beautiful
text entitled: he loses
sculpture, accompanying the
exhibition says: "... the
number of Fractions
develops an exercise in
deconstruction and
construction result unknown
to encounter unexpected
results which are coming
after risking to sculpture to
explore their horizon
between chance and
necessity, variables and
constants forms.
The work of preparing these
works is offered as a trial
without project and each of
the pieces like a plastic
possibility of sculpture when
it is subjected to the pressure
of randomness and accident.
In them, the time, the
constant that appears
throughout the production
Bellotti, materializes with
extreme sharpness. So it
could be said of them, in my
opinion, they are the plastic
form of clearer future of the
built so far by Evaristo ... ...
Bellotti has started from the
idea of -a fraction
mathematical term and has
chosen as working material
broken pieces of glass,
ceramics, paper, cardboard,
etc .. That means focusing
towards a certain type of
fragments, not towards any
kind of fragment. The work
material is then formed for
the fractions resulting from
the breakage of materials
such as glass, are
susceptible to break at
random. (The glass is
resulting from the high
temperature fusion of silica
sand, soda ash and
limestone solid amorphous
character. The crystal has an
opposite molecular
composition to the glass, the
atoms and ions are arranged
symmetrically in elementary
networks forming a crystal
structure, a crystal has the

fractions geometric regularity
of the crystal structure ... "
The first time I was exposed
to the public these beautiful
sculptures was at the Tech
Museum of Glass in La
Granja in 2013.
The exhibition is completed
with Fractions creative artist
workshops held in the month
of January 2015 to groups of
students of Fine Arts in the
Complutense and Rey Juan
Carlos of Madrid, as well as
high school students from
IES Artistic Ithaca Alcorcón
and the School of Art in
Palma de Madrid.
Evaristo Bellotti, (Algeciras
1955) is a great sculptor with
a long and successful career.
Among his most important
exhibitions highlights an
individual entitled Sculpture
2008, at the Palacio de
Cristal, space belonging to
the exhibition program of the
Museo Nacional Centro de
Arte Reina Sofía.

both they and Marta, with
enthusiastic applause.
This concert was not, as
is usual in our program in
teaching any way,
because we consider it
as a Christmas party for
both the boys and their
families, to spend with
music.
The staging by the choir
was very original and
quite spectacular,
because in the darkness
that prevailed when the
stage lights off very
attractively highlighted
the twinkling little lights

The Roman glass in museums in Madrid (II).

The transformation of Roman
glass in a handmade product
mass will reply in the
contemporary art of the
twentieth century.
As an art historian I want to
analyze the different modes of
expression and the period in
which they occur.
One day, deepen the artistic
expressions of the Roman
period, I noticed that the work
of the glass was treated very
brief and succinct by most
textbooks on the history of the
art form; this fact began to
arouse my interest in the
subject, and finally decided to
investigate.
To do this he had to resort to a
teacher who could address the
work, and decided that that
person could be D. Fernando
De Olaguer-Feliu, Professor in
different subjects both my
undergraduate and my studies
in the Doctoral Program.
When I told my intention to
investigate the Roman glass
and asked him his address at
work quickly agreed; the first
steps proposed to me, quite
rightly, to tackle this study
were to limit the subject
because it was very spacious,
and make an assessment of
both bibliographic sources and
volume of parts that could be
treated.
We finally decided that the title
of the thesis would be "The
Roman Glass in collections
and museums in Madrid".
After an initial literature review,
I discovered that the literature
on Roman glass in Spain were
scarce, except for D. Pascual
Vigil who boarded the Roman
glass in antique dealing pieces
from Spanish minerals, D.
Angel Fuentes, specializing in
Roman glass, which delves
into the glass of the Plateau
establishing a personal
typology and bringing light to
the local production of glass,
such as the Cadiz workshop
Barrios, Jennifer Price with his
thesis on several deposits:
Italica, Carmona, Mérida etc.,
and Ms. M.P. Caldera de
Castro, in his study on the
emeritense VIRIO, among
others.
Currently the subject arouses
more interest, highlighting the
work carried out by Ms. Ortiz
and D. Angel Palomar sources
that address the matter and give
a different vision in sight so far,
along with the work being
published by Mrs. . MJ Almagro
Gorbea on the pre-Roman and
Roman at the National Museum
of Decorative Arts glass.
Foreign literature has shown
great interest in the matter

Craft Fair of Madrid.
On December 13 opened in
Madrid's Plaza de Spain's
Market Craft Fair Madrid as
usual a few years ago.
This is the 27th edition of the
Fair and is the ninth time that
is installed in this location, as
earlier, since 1988, they were
in the Paseo de Recoletos.
This year there are 169's
stand has the Fair and
labeled as glass artisans
include thirteen.
On our visit to this edition of
the Fair greet our friends
Fulkolor, vitreus Ignis, Ana
Yabar, Lume Glass,
MalvayGris, Talismania by
Xana, Arantxa Garcia and

Older windows are preserved
in the cathedral of the German
city of Augsburg and are dated
between 1050 and 1150.
However they lived their period
of splendor between the twelfth
and sixteenth centuries when
they became an essential
element of the Gothic
cathedrals of Spain, France,
Germany and England.
Today, almost five centuries
later, the stained-glass artist
Fabrice Nicolin (Dijon, France,
1971) continues to work as did
the first craftsmen but
transforming their creations to
the demands of the times.
Having learned 15 years ago in
Argentina hand prestigious
artist Carlos Herzberg, now
Nicolin, become one of the
major figures of the artistic
work of the glass, has moved a
few months ago his workshop
Sant Josep.
"My relationship with the
wonderful world of light crystal
began by chance when I began
attending classes as a hobby
workshop Herzberg and
gradually caught me so much

The glass in Museums: Rosenau.
Since 2008, the European
Museum of Modern Glass is
located in a new building in
front of the Orangerie of
Schloss Rosenau in
Rödental, thanks primarily to
the Coburg businessman
and patron Otto Waldrich.
This building has 1,260 m² of
exhibition space.
The permanent exhibition on
the ground floor shows the
development of studio glass
from 1960 to the present.
Besides glassware and
functional objects in creative
design, visitors can also see
the glass sculptures and
installations.
The core of the exhibition
consists of works presented
during the three Coburg
Glass Prize competitions in
the years 1977, 1985 and
2006.
A glass staircase leads to
special exhibition room and
the study of Murano on the
first floor.

techniques.
Since April 2012, the
basement of the museum
houses the collection studio
pottery.
With over 500 exhibits over

The Saxon Palace
Moritzburg currently hosting
a collection of Czech
Christmas decorations made
up over a thousand pieces.
Entitled 'The Shining of
Czech Christmas' offers
glass beads, figures, stars
and even life-size
representations of St.
Nicholas from the nineteenth
and early twentieth
centuries.
Traditional Czech Christmas
decorations, although they
share characteristics with
other Central European
countries, have their own
peculiarities that make also
interesting for the German
public.
The baroque palace of
Moritzburg, in the state of
Saxony, has thus become
the scene of the exhibition
"The Glow of Czech
Christmas'.
Over a thousand original
Czech ornaments Christmas
atmosphere now fill the halls
and rooms of the building,

José Perete began studying
piano at age 5 ½ years with

Sykora.
It starts to music theory and
musical notation with Miguel

organist at the church of

After a stay of ten years in Europe, Annie Flores presents his latest solo show in Lima entitled "I acknowledge" that proposes to close the circle of a long personal and professional journey.
The artist combines different media and techniques to provide a broad overview of the different stages of his work throughout his travels and experiences in Peru and Europe, which have helped to strengthen the recognition of their creativity and self-assertion as an artist.
So that the public will be part of a personal journey that Annie Flores in four themes: family; evasion and travel; the couple; and the sea and the volcano.
The body of this work includes works created using mixed media and materials such as porcelain and glass sculpture, drawing, collages of organic and industrial materials.
On the work of Annie Flores, art critic Jorge Villarcota notes that the artist presents three key in its field of creation: "First, the trend towards miniaturization as a
way to make your world an intimate experience but visually communicable .
Also, its attachment to the drawing, that most of the time line is simple and complex load, sexual and violent moments, allowing the construction of a fiction whose plot is dark but seductive.
And finally, the mercuric temperament, a mix of lively, sparkling zigzag and components, which are separated and disintegrate but also meet and recompose to affirm the continuity of self. "

About the Artist
Annie Francis Flores Ramos (Lima, 1974) is a graduate of the National Superior School of Fine Arts of Peru, specializing in Printmaking (Lima, 1997).
In 2003, he won the competition
Passport to an Artist, organized by the Embassy of France in Peru and travels to France where he studied Bachelor of Arts, graduating from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg in 2005.
Subsequently, concludes a Master of Visual Arts at the University of Strasbourg in 2008.
His work has won several awards, including the First Honorable Mention the V National Fine Arts Competition organized by the Fundación Telefónica in Lima (2001); First Honorable Mention of the XXIV National Salon of Engraving ICPNA in Lima (1993); and has been recognized as "Distinguished Artist" by an international jury in the last five years, in 1998.
He has made four solo exhibitions: "I go" in rea - emerging artists from across the world, in Perugia (Italy, 2012); "Travel" in Gallaria Punt in Samedan-St. Moritz (Switzerland, 2006); "Let Planes" in Science Centre di Città della Scienza, Naples (Italy, 2004) and "The Passenger" in the Gallery Cecilia Gonzalez in Lima (Peru, 2002).
He has participated in several group exhibitions in Peru and abroad, including "Rencontres insolites" in the Musée de l'Oeuvre Notre-Dame, Strasbourg (France, 2007) and "FuoriOrario" in Antiquares, Palazzo Gregori, Foligno (Italy , 2012).
Currently, Annie Flores lives and works in Lima, after a long stay in Strasbourg, where in addition to continuing his personal artistic journey, continuing his graduate studies in art history at the Université de Strasbourg.

the celebration of New
Year's Eve in Times
Square in New York City,
