Rev 15:1-4 Victorious Bride of Christ elevated to power in heaven - position of rulership on earth - contrast 12:1

Seven angels = seven spirits of God sent forth. Plagues - stripes, smitings to discipline nations. In 21st centuary now in 6th Vial close to when

wrath is filled up. Judgments of God now nearing

completion.

Results of Jesus’ Intervention.

15:2 Sea of glass - nations at peace after judgments poured out by Christ and Saints.

Gotten the victory - had first of all overcome - kept separate from pressure to conform to beast.

Sing in Triumph - Song of Moses and the Lamb - reference to Moses’ deliverance of people but true Israel still yet to be finally brought in and planted. (Ex 15:17).

Visible token - House of Prayer for all nations.

A House of Prayer. 6 “Also the sons of the stranger, that join

themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” (Isa 56)

An Everlasting Name. 4 “For thus saith the LORD unto the

eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.” Isa 56.

The Means of Victory. 15:3 Lord God Almighty means “He who

will be Mighty Ones of Armies.” God to be manifested in multitude of

mighty ones. They follow their Leader - Christ - arrayed in

white - the Saints in Glory. 15:4 Redeemed choose to worship in

reverential fear - condone his judgments - have been taken out of the nations for his name. (Acts 15:14)
