Win Emotional Wars

1. Praise Allows You to Deliberately Work Toward

Changing Your Emotions

Col 3:1-4 (KJV) If ye then be risen with Christ,

seek those things which are above,

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above,

not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and

your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ,

Psalms 16:7-9 (KJV) I will bless the Lord, who

hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me

in the night seasons. 8 I have set the Lord

always before me: because he is at my right

heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my

Psalms 42:4-5 (KJV) When I remember these

things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone

5. When We Bless The Lord, We Cry for Help

Psalms 31:21-24 (KJV) Blessed be the Lord:

for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in

a strong city. 22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off

from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou

heardest the voice of my supplications

when I cried unto thee. 23 O love the Lord,

all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the

faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

6. Blessing The Lord Gives God Our Burdens

Psalms 68:19-20 (AMP) Blessed be the Lord,

Who bears our burdens and carries us

that]! 20 God is to us a God of deliverances and

salvation; and to God the Lord belongs escape

from death [setting us free].

7. Blessing God Empowers Him In Your Life

Psalms 68:32-35 (KJV) Sing unto God, ye

the Lord; Selah: 33 To him that rideth upon the

heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he

doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency

is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places:

the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and

4. Winning Life’s Battles With

Praise

1. Having The Presence of God is Beginning of

Winning 2 Chron 5:13-14 (KJV) It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the

Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the

house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; 14 So that the priests could not stand to

minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

o Psalms 24:7-10 (KJV) Lift up your heads, O

ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting

3. Our Troubles Melt At the Presence of the Lord

Psalms 97:1-6 (KJV) The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. 2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the

habitation of his throne. 3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. 4 His lightnings

enlightened the world: the earth saw, and

trembled. 5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence

of the Lord of the whole earth. 6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

4. Nebuchadnezzar’s Life Was Restored When He

5. When We Exalt God, He Exalts Us

Psalms 113:1-9 (KJV) Praise ye the Lord. Praise,

1. We Should Experience A Polarized World.

Everything Lines Up For Us When We Praise Our God

Psalms 66:1-5 (KJV) Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: 2 Sing forth the

honour of his name: make his praise glorious. 3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto

thee. 4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. 5 Come and see the

works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men

Psalms 67:3-7 (KJV) Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 4 O let the nations be glad and sing for

joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. 5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people

Psalms 144:9-15 (KJV) I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. 10 It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword. 11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of

falsehood: 12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: 13 That our garners may be full,

Psalms 92:1-5 (KJV) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy

name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3 Upon an

instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. 4 For thou,

Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 5 O

Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

Psalms 149:1-5 (KJV) Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto

the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. 2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the

timbrel and harp. 4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 5 Let the saints be

joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6. We Should Experience a Renewed Spirit Of Our

Done For You

Psalms 103:1-5 (KJV) Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

8. We Should Experience Restoration Jonah 2:7-10 (KJV) When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. 8 They that observe lying

vanities forsake their own mercy. 9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed.

9. We Should Experience Release From Bondage
