Emove concept Kasper Schwartz Naija H.R. Nygaard Osmund Olsen eMOVE is based on promoting the electric vehicle through car sharing which is partly financed through co-branding. The co-financing companies are companies that are generally placed outside the city centre and people often use a car to go to, such as IKEA, Bilka or Bauhaus. The co-branding comes as a benefit for both the users and the companies. The users obtain reduced prices on purchased products according to how much they have purchased, and half the cost on the hour price rental of the eMove car. On the parking lot there is special parking for the eMOVE cars where the users can charge the battery while shopping. Also eMOVE is cheaper than other car sharing companies because the price is reduced due to the co-branding. The co-branding companies would benefit on sending out the signal of being environmentally concerned and on the beat with new technology. The companies also benefit from increasing their number of customers buying their products. Another example of how co-branding is used is through the signup process for eMOVE: you’re your personal account allows you to access music downloads music through TDC. When inserting your ID-card in a eMOVE car the 7” screen will show your list of music. You will then be able to listen to your downloaded music or favourite radio stations. Waiting by the traffic light or on the highway cue, silent targeted commercials from the co-branding companies will pop up.
