BACnet EMI SMART METER™ Easy, Affordable and Precise Monitoring of your Energy Consumption

BACnet EMI SMART METER™ measures electrical energy consumption of an AC (alternating current) branch circuit or in-dividual load (e.g., a piece of equipment) and conveys usage data to a central col-lection point for real-time analysis.

Data transmitted by the field side of the BACnet EMI SMART METER™ module is read by standard BACnet explorer soft-ware on a work station, PC or host sys-tem with the protocol integrated into its operating structure.

The BACnet EMI SMART METER™ consists of:

• Printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) com-prising the electronics

• One to three current transformers (CTs) or Rogowski coils for current sensing

• Communications PCBA containing the BAC-net interface

• Sealed housing of the electronics with mounting provisions
