Typically, a toothache isn’t all that serious. When thepain is severe, however, and/or doesn’t go away within afew days, it’s time to speeddial your dentist. Severe,longlasting pain may be the result of tooth decay, adental abscess, or some other problem. Anytime youhave pain you should get in to see a dentist as soon aspossible, but when the pain lasts and lasts, you can’tafford to wait and are advised to go to an emergencyclinic.
