$1 DRESS DOWN DAY - FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH
The Student Government is sponsoring a Dress Down Day on Friday, April 26th for a minimum donation of $1. The
proceeds will go toward their Easter Service Project.
SPIRIT SHOW PERMISSION FORM
Save the date for our annual Spirit Show on Thursday, May 16th. Included in Mail Day is a permission form that
needs to be filled out and returned by Friday, May 3rd. If your student will not be attending the Spirit Show,
an alternate assignment will be given to them by their teacher.
BISHOP’S EDUCATION FUND - PASTOR VERIFICATION FORM
If you filled out an application for financial aid for the 2019-2020 school year and have applied specifically for the
Bishop’s Education Fund, please remember that you MUST submit the 2019-2020 Bishop’s Education Fund Pastor
Verification Form to Mrs. Brown. That is the form that your pastor must sign. If you have any questions, please feel free
to contact the school office or Mrs. Brown at [email protected].
COFFEE & QUESTIONS WITH THE PRINCIPAL - APRIL 29TH
Don’t forget to RSVP for our Coffee & Questions with the Principal on Monday, April 29th. This is your opportunity to

DRAMA CLUB PLAY - FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH
Don’t forget to buy your tickets to the Drama Club play “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Prince?” on Friday, April 26th.
Tickets are $5 per person and will also be sold at the door. All students are bringing home their complimentary ticket to
the Drama Club Play today in their Teacher Communication envelopes. OLG students get in for free but must be
accompanied by an adult.
Also, it’s not too late to send a Backstage Note to any student in Drama Club. The form is included in Mail Day today.
You can also purchase Backstage Notes and concessions the night of the performance.
ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION SPORTS BANQUET - MAY 18TH
Save the date for the Athletic Association’s Sports Banquet on Saturday, May 18th at 5:00 P.M. The cost is $25 per
adult, student athletes are free. This event is for OLG student athletes and their parents only. The reservation form is
included in Mail Day today.
CAFETERIA
Just a reminder that the utensils, condiments, and napkins in the cafeteria are provided for students who purchase lunch.
Students who pack their lunch should also pack utensils, condiments, and napkins from home. Thank you!
SHOEBOXES FOR KANE HOSPITAL
Our Student Government is collecting items for the patients at Kane Hospital. They will fill shoeboxes with the items that
are donated and give it to the patients. They are asking for the following Travel Size items from the different grades:
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade please bring in any of the following:
Combs/brushes
Lotion
Chapstick
Stickers
Grades 3-5 please bring in any of the following:
Pencils
Crayons
Coloring Books
Tissue Packets
Grades 6-8 please bring in any of the following:
Puzzle Books
Sugar-free Hard Candy
Mini-Deodorant/Powders
Playing Cards
Donations are due by Tuesday, April 30th. Thank you in advance for your help with this project!
SNAPOLOGY COMING TO OLG - TUESDAY, MAY 7TH
Save the date - Snapology is coming to OLG on Tuesday, May 7th from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. The program is open to
students in grades 3-5. The form to RSVP is included in Mail Day today.
SHOE DONATIONS FOR THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION - DEADLINE EXTENDED
The Athletic Association has extended the date of the collection to Friday, May 10th. Spring is here! Clean out your
closets and donate your gently worn shoes. Send a text to your friends/family and co-workers and watch them respond
with bags of unwanted shoes!
2018-2019 YEARBOOK
Don’t forget to order your 2018-2019 Yearbook! The cost of the yearbook is $22 and checks should be made payable to
Our Lady of Grace School. Extra forms can be found in the school office. Email Miss Stehura at [email protected]
with any questions.
GIRL SCOUT COLLECTION FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL PATIENTS
One of our students, Teresa Fotovich, is a Girl Scout and is working on her bronze award - the highest honor a Junior
Girl Scout can achieve. Her troop is collecting supplies for the patients (and families of those patients) at Children’s
Hospital. The items that they are looking for are:
Phone Chargers
Gently Used Books
Magazines
DVD’s (children’s & adults)
Please send in any donations by Tuesday, April 30th. Thank you in advance for your help!
Dear Parents,
We are very excited about our annual Spirit Show on Thursday, May 16th at 7:00 P.M. Students should report to their homerooms at 6:45 P.M. We have begun practicing in school and ALL students are expected to participate. Please fill out this form and return it to school by Friday, May 3rd. If your child is not participating, their teacher will give them an alternate assignment to complete as this is part of their music grade.
