FLUODY
Being part of Yriel Group, La Mesta can also offer the synthesis of small quantities of products, impurities, standard reference via its sister company Fluody, an Italian CRO based in Villanova Mondovì (Italia).
La Mesta can also offer the synthesis of highly pure liquids via its other sister company, EGNO Chimie, located in Normandy (France). This company developed a catalog of pheromones and products dedicated to Flavor & Fragrances. On top of that, EGNO works as a CMO for fine chemistry, F&F, …
La Mesta is a CMO We develop the synthesis, industrialize and manufacture sophisticated products used in:
La Mesta offers, as a CMO, the best Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards:
ISO 9001 v 2015 certified
Standard Batch Equipment
Proprietary Continuous Flow Reactor : RAPTOR
cGMP certified production plant (ICH Q7A standards) with API sold in Europe, Canada and Japan.
Kosher certification (OU inspection)
FSSC 22000 certification for synthesis of products used in food applications (2018)
Rated Gold by Ecovadis.
FDA registered for flavors supply in the US.
Located in the French Riviera near Nice since 1971, La Mesta Chimie Fine offers the full range of services that you can expect from your chemical partner.

Since 2004, La Mesta has heavily invested in the development of its proprietary Continuous Flow Reactor (RAPTOR). This technology is used at industrial scale to produce different fine chemicals for example in Fragrance, photo or in Pharma (the final step of one API is produced under GMP using this technology).
Example of reactions performed in continuous
Our productions using RAPTOR technology involve different non-trivial chemistry

In 2017, La Mesta invested in a workshop dedicated to multi-purpose Continuous Flow Production. This equipment allows the synthesis but also the work-up (washing, decantation) to be performed in continuous. Using this fully automatized equipment, La Mesta is able to work with a flow rate of 500 liters per hour, meaning for example the production of 60 MT of the following product in 10 weeks.
MsCl / NEt3
Flow rate: 500 L/h (133 kg/h of product).Production 60 MT in 10 weeks.
This new workshop brings La Mesta among the top players in multi products Continuous Flow Process.
For the synthesis of the above mesylate La Mesta is now able to produce 60 MT in 10 weeks instead of 25 weeks using a 6000 L.

Separation / Drying equipment:
Once the reactions are performed, separation and isolation are very important operations. It is normally one of the final step which insures the quality of the product (removing of impurities, avoidance of cross contamination or contamination by foreign entities). For this, La Mesta can offer:
Mix of Stainless Steel, Inconel, Hastelloy and Glass Line vessels ranging from 100 L (pilot) up to 27 000 L.
Distillation columns in stainless steel or anti corrosion material up to 60 theoretical plates 1 mbar / 250°C.
Liquid separation:
Powder isolation with:
Sieving and milling capabilities
Products from our filter dryers and dryers are isolated directly in clean rooms to prevent any contamination of the product and to protect our operators. Products can be sieved or milled if required.
Filter dryers in Stainless steel (up to 2,2 MT batch size) or Hastelloy (up to 500 kg).Centrifuges horizontal or verticalDryers in stainless steel or anti-corrosion material.
