Robust and reliable when operating. Beam movements in opening and closing with slowdown. Unaffected by low and high temperature conditions.

• Robustreinforced structure made of rust-proof treated varnished steel. Finishing in two options: powder coating (RAL 2002 orange red and orange peel metallized gray) or STAINLESS STEEL/INOX. Righ- or left-handed. Various speed options available. Anodized aluminium beam with safe oval cross section without sharp corners.

• Versatilein a wide range of versions, with a lot of accessories to meet the most various applications: beams with fencing, beams with integrated LED lights (to improve night visibility and save on energy consumption), folding beams (to overcome ground to ceiling space limitations).

• Easy and quick to installin that the electronic controller ELPRO 980 is incorporated in the top of the housing in a dedicated box. Various programmable logic functions are available as well as the master/slave option in case of double opposite mount applications.

• Manual optionsare possible with beams up to max. 6,40 m in length (without fence). Ideal for places where no electric power is available.

With its elliptical section, the entire length of the anodised aluminium arm is devoid of dangerous edges, to guarantee total safety.The section also includes a lower runner for the optional installation of aluminium fences (barrier attached below the arm) or rubber safety strips.The arm is provided in two separate lengths (3,20 and 2,10 metres), for connection with an inner expansion joint that makes it possible to cover any carriageway width.The moving arm has a fixed fork-shaped or folding pedestal.Articulated arms are available subject to specific request for access to covered areas and underground garages.

ManualA manual version is also available with beams up to 6,40 m of length maximum (without a fence underneath). Ideal for applications where electric power is not at reach.

A single compact bodyThe product’s structure includes a powder coated treated steel housing, with a shaped, reinforced interior enclosing the electronic management programmer and the motor-main unit - hydraulic piston - compression spring unit. This unit is assembled as a single compact body, making the Bayt 980 practical and reliable, without loose components requiring difficult installation and maintenance operations.

Smooth and quiet operationsBeing oil-hydraulic, the movements of the arm are quiet, without jerking, and can be slowed down at the end of the closing travel (adjustable) and opening travel (factory pre-set) on arm reaching the full open vertical position.The force developed by the piston can be controlled by adjustable hydraulic maximum pressure valves on opening and closing.A compression spring helps the bar to rise, even when manually operated following a power failure.The housing is fitted with a hinged, lockable door, cataphoresis-treated to prevent rust and powder coated. A coded key allows to have access to the inner components. The door is fitted with a voltage cut-off switch disconnecting power from the inner electronic control unit whenever the door is opened.A cover, cataphoresis-treated and powder coated as well, is fitted on top of the housing, where the limit switches are located, and is designed to be mounted with MIRI 4, the flashing light.Installation is first made by cementing the fixing base plate into the ground by means of rag bolts, the top ends of which are made to protrude in order to fit and finally fix the Bayt 980 on to them.
