• Electric bicycles are very common in China, with an estimated fleet of 120 million e-bikes by early 2010.

• An electric bicycle, also known as an e-bike, is a bicycle with an electric motor used to power the vehicle. Electric bicycles use rechargeable batteries and can travel up to 15 to 20 mph (24 to 32 km/h), depending on the laws of the country in which they are sold. In some markets they are rapidly replacing traditional bikes and motorcycles.

• In many parts of the world, electric bicycles are classified as bicycles rather than motor vehicles, so they are not subject to the more stringent laws regarding certification and operation of motor vehicles. Electric bicycles are one type of motorize bicycle . However, electric bicycles are defined separately and treated as a specific vehicle type in many areas jurisdiction.

• Electric bicycle usage worldwide has experienced rapid growth since 1998. It is estimated that there were roughly 120 million e-bikes in China as of early 2010, and sales are expanding rapidly in India, the United States of America, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. A total of 700,000 electric bicycles were sold in Europe in 2010, up from 200,000 in 2007 and 500,000 units in 2009

Every Major Car manufacture are introducing their e-bike some are just prototypes

And many are the leading edge in cycles. Many owners of the fastest exotic cars would also love to have the coolest and fastest e-bikes. Germany and Swiss and many European companies are at he leading edge of this new industry and though America also has their fair share of innovations these are more a smaller shop base operation geared towards the mountain bike rides, with bike that can climb any mountain like gas bikes but now electric. Growing rapidly are electric motorcycles that are faster than any street gas cycle rocket on the market today. Yet another market we can get into the future.

Concept build a demand and fulfill the supply. That’s what Electric City Cycles will do. By starting riding clubs. We will create easy finance for expensive bikes we can start a lease to own program.

• As you can see by the graph, bicycle production is enjoying a renaissance, increasing in each of the last six years while car production has remained steady in growth. Much of the recent growth has been driven by the rise gas prices as well as in electric bike production, which has doubled to 21 million units in the last three years. Since 1970, bicycle output quadrupled while car production doubled.

• The city of Copenhagen (pictured) plans to invest more than $200 million in bike facilities between 2006 and 2024, estimating that by 2015 half its residents will bike to work or school (36% do today). The city of Amsterdam will spend $160 million from 2006 to 2010 on bicycle infrastructure.

• The U.S. government will spend $900 million a year for biking and pedestrian infrastructure for 2005 to 2009, doubling bicycle and pedestrian routes in the 50 largest cities.

Lease to Own Program for Teams • Example. A fast electric race bike can cost any where from $3000. and up • A cycle race team will need a 6 man team to compete cost $18,000. • Each rider on team will have to put a deposit of $1000. x 6 riders = $6000. • Monthly payments with interest of say $100. per rider will be $600. monthly from team. This will

take one year to payoff. All team bikes will be stored at our warehouse and team will be able to have everyday practice runs for team improvement and current races monthly. The race will between long distance points like Miami to the Keys or anywhere.

• Price to be in the race could be $100. per rider. Lets say we have built 5 teams. 5 teams $600. per team = $3000. Winning team will have a purse of 70% and ECC will keep 30% for race expenses or funds for next race. Remember we will also control all sport drinks and cycle assccories maybe even an admission to the finish line celebration and after party maybe even a BBQ. What a business potential is that to make a lifestyle and a cash flow.

• This can be done on the road, a track, off road course cross country. • Bike companies will be giving us endorsements gifts and prizes for these events the stakes will

increase beyond our wildest dreams like the X Games. • Until the whole balance of the team bike are paid in full the bikes will only be let out for team

practice runs. I am almost positive the team will pay off debt to then be able to customize their team bikes.

• We can also sell off team sports wear for the team with logo on cycle wear big money on cheep clothing with a high mark up.

• Any team can invite guest to ride with them on practice runs but the bikes we can rent to them for guest. I don’t think any team rider would like their personal bike to be loaned out so guest will have to rent one from us.

7 Health Benefits of Cycling • Cyclists are a diverse group. Some of us ride fat tires down rocky trails, some of us ride road bikes up

burly hills, some of us ride for sport and some of us ride just for fun. Some ride for the adrenaline rush and some ride their bikes for basic transportation. But all of us can take advantage of the healthy benefits of cycling, even if we never ever buy a single item made from spandex.

• Bicycling, along with being the most efficient mode of human locomotion, is also one of the best all-around activities for improving our health. From head to toes, cycling’s health benefits are hard to beat.

• 1. Cycling is good for your heart: Cycling is associated with improved cardiovascular fitness, as well as a decrease in the risk of coronary heart disease.

• 2. Cycling is good for your muscles: Riding a bike is great for toning and building your muscles, especially in the lower half of the body – your calves, your thighs, and your rear end. It’s also a great low-impact mode of exercise for those with joint conditions or injuries to the legs or hips, which might keep them from being active.

• 3. Cycling is good for your waistline: You can burn a lot of calories while biking, especially when you cycle faster than a leisurely pace, and cycling has been associated with helping to keep weight gain down. And cycling has the added benefit of ramping up your metabolism, even after the ride is over.

• 4. Cycling is good for your lifespan: Bicycling is a great way to increase your longevity, as cycling regularly has been associated with increased ‘life-years’, even when adjusted for risks of injury through cycling.

• 5. Cycling is good for your coordination: Moving both feet around in circles while steering with both your hands and your body’s own weight is good practice for your coordination skills.

• 6. Cycling is good for your mental health: Riding a bike has been linked to improved mental health.

• 7. Cycling is good for your immune system: Cycling can strengthen your immune system, and could protect against certain kinds of cancers.
