Sound
Sound is a form of energy that is produced when an object vibrates. It can
travel through air, water and solids. Sound travels much slower than light,
in a straight line and in any direction.
Depending on its intensity, sounds can be loud or soft. According to its tone, sounds can
be low-pitched or high-pitched. For example, the roar of a lion is loud and low-pitched,
and a birdsong is soft and high-pitched.
