El Cielo Light As A Feather Shawl

One skein of El Cielo can make a beautiful, lacy shawl. It is a wonderful travel project as it weighs almost nothing.
Skill Level: Easy/Intermediate
Materials: Cascade Yarns® El Cielo; 89% Superfine Alpaca / 11% Nylon; 100 g (3.5 oz) – 579.6 yds (530 m) 1 skein of color #04 (Bordeaux) US 9 Circular Knitting Needles 2 Stitch Markers Tapestry/Darning Needle Gauge:
Gauge is unimportant. 16 sts x 16 rows = 4” (10 cm) Approx.
Finished Measurements:
1 skein = 76” wide across the top x 35” long at the point
Abbreviations:
CO = Cast On BO = Bind Off PM = Place Marker
SM = Slip Marker
K = Knit
P = Purl YO = Yarn Over RS = Right Side WS = Wrong Side St(s) = Stitch(es) K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together

Begin Pattern: Row 1: K1, YO, Knit to Marker, YO, [SM] K1 [SM] YO, K to last stitch, YO, K1

Repeat these 2 rows 7 times.
Lacey Rows:
Row 1: K1, YO, [K2Tog, YO] to 1 stitch before marker K1, YO [SM] K1 [SM] YO, K1, [YO, K2tog] to last stitch,
