Welcome  to  October!    It  is  so  hard  to  believe  that  October  is   already  here!    Be   thinking  about  what  costume  you  are  going  to  wear  on  the  31st…!    

1. The   response   to   our   call   for  supplies   for   those   in   need   in   the  north   of   Puebla   has   been  wonderful!     Our   Las   Animas  community   has   given   generously.    Please   continue   to   remind   your  students   that   they   can   still   bring  rice,   tuna   or   beans,   depending   on  their  grade  level.      

2. All   of   these   supplies   will   be  organized,   transported   and   given  out  on  October  8th  and  9th.      

3. We   now   have   a   new   group   of  parents   for   the   Parents’  Association,  and  they  appear  to  be  enthusiastic   and   ready   to  work   in  benefit   of   our   students.     Ms.   Susy  will   send  you  a   copy  of   the  e-­‐mail  that  will  go  out  to  parents  with  the  names  of  the  officers.  

4. Congratulations   to   everyone   on   a  successful   first   in-­‐service   day  (consejo   técnico).       All   of   our  coordinators  worked  hard  to  make  this  day  as  productive  as  possible,  and   it   was   wonderful   to   hear  teachers   sharing   their   thoughts  and  ideas  as  they  worked  as  well.      

5. Also  a  big   thanks   to  Ms.  Sandy   for  her   dedication   to   the   IBCC  program   and   organizing   our  “convivios”.     The   chalupas   were  great,   and   I   hope   everyone   got   a  piece   of   cake!     Happy   Birthday  again  to  all  our  September  babies!  

6. Thanks  also  to  all  the  teachers  who  loaned   their   classrooms.     Our  preschool   needed   these  classrooms   to   host   the   other  preschools  from  our  zone  for  their  first   in-­‐service   day.     Their  supervisor   wanted   all   the   schools  together  for  this  day.      

7. Ms   Sandy   has   gotten   Destination  Imagination   off   to   a   great   start!    We   now   have   the   teams   and   the  team  managers   for   this   year.     Ms.  Yeshi,   who   has   taken   teams   to  Tennessee,   will   help   the   team  managers   this   year   to   better  prepare   their   teams   for   the  national   and   international  tournaments.     Best   of   luck   to  everyone,   and  we   look   forward   to  seeing  great  results!

   ¡Bienvenidos  a  octubre!    ¡Es   difícil   creer   que   octubre   ya  está  ahí!  

Empiecen   a   pensar   en   qué   disfraz   van   a  ponerse  el  31…  

 1. ¡La  respuesta  a  nuestro   llamado  para  

reunir   víveres   para   los   damnificados  del  norte  de  Puebla  ha  sido  excelente!  Nuestra  comunidad  de  Las  Ánimas  ha  sido  muy  generosa.  Por   favor   continúen   recordándoles   a  sus   alumnos   que   aún   pueden   traer  arroz,  atún  o  frijoles  dependiendo  del  grado  en  el  que  estén.  

2. Todos   los   víveres   serán   organizados  en   despensas   y   se   transportarán   y  entregarán  el  8  y  9  de  octubre.  

3. Ya   contamos   con   una   nueva  Asociación   de   padres   de   familia   y  parece  ser  un  grupo  muy  entusiasta  y  listo   para   trabajar   en   beneficio   de  nuestros   alumnos.   Ms.   Susy   les  enviará   a   ustedes   una   copia   del  correo  que  se  subirá  al  portal  con  los  nombres  de  los  representantes.  

4. Felicitaciones   a   todos   por   el   primer  exitoso  día  de  consejo   técnico.  Todas  nuestras   coordinadoras   trabajaron  muy  duro  para  hacer  este  día   lo  más  productivo   posible,   y   fue   excelente  escuchar   al  magisterio   compartiendo  sus   pensamientos   e   ideas   al   mismo  tiempo  que  trabajaban.  

5. También  muchas  gracias  a  Ms.  Sandy  por   su  dedicación  en   el   programa  de  CSBI   y   la   organización   de   nuestros  convivios.   ¡Las   chalupas   estuvieron  deliciosas   y   espero   que   a   todos   les  haya   tocado   una   rebanada   de   pastel!  ¡Feliz   cumpleaños   nuevamente   a  nuestros  muchachitos  de  septiembre!  

6. Muchas   gracias   a   las   maestras   que  nos   prestaron   sus   salones.   Nuestro  preescolar  necesitó  esos  salones  para  hospedar   a   otros   preescolares   de   la  zona   escolar   para   su   primer   día   de  consejo  técnico.  Su  supervisora  quiso  que   todas   las   escuelas   estuviesen  juntas  para  ese  día.  

7. ¡Ms.   Sandy   dió   un   gran   inicio   a  Destination   Imagination!   Ya  contamos   con   los   equipos  y   los   team  managers  (jefes  de  equipo)  para  este  año.   Ms.   Yeshi,   quien   ha   llevado   a  algunos   equipos   a   Tennessee,  ayudará  a  los  team  managers  este  año  para  prepararlos  mejor  en  vista  de  los  torneos  nacional  e  internacional.   ¡Les  deseamos   la   mejor   de   la   suerte   a  todos   y   estaremos   en   espera   de   ver  los  resultados!
