Acting as a central meeting point for disaster management coordinationserving as a platform for information sharing among Southeast Europe (SEE)

nations as they prepare for or execute under a natural or man-made disaster.

Provide a framework and a single point of access to deliver and share

information among national officials and the public.

Acting as an experimental platform on which to conduct virtual exercises forthe SEE region and potentially in the future, the South Caucasus

Provide a repository of dynamic and easily updatable resources available for

the emergency planners/responders/decision makers

Improving exchanging of information for easy access to information about

common risks, methods of planning, information, institutions and qualifiedpersonnel, normative resolving and procedures

Enable development of system of early warning

Ensure reports of operative situations, which are necessary to the bodies,

which directs with disasters.

Based on assigned access rightsfor their roles, various users cancollaboratively author a document.

Access roles also allow specificrights per document(update/delete).

Documents can be either postedfor specific audiences only, or forall authenticated members.

PIMS EIN Platform allowsmanagement of event types, thatcan be attached to a calendar(various views available, by

ConclusionConclusion

Emergency Information Network can provide required capabilities

and services required for exchanging of information in

consequences management of disasters between the SEE

countries.

PIMS is committed to play an active role in this project and workclosely with IT&M Working Group within SEE CMEP Council, as

well as any other SEE Country Emergency Management Agency,

USACE and NATO EADRCC.
