The accuracy of these infotypes is highly critical since they determine how an employee’s benefit eligibility is processed. System configured tables access employee master data including information like org unit, employee group, employee subgroup, address, employee date of birth, employee dependents, dependent dates of birth, etc. to restrict entry in the appropriate benefit infotypes. Output – Results CommentsReturns listing of selected employee(s) in lower left column. You then highlight the single employee whose benefits you wish to work on. Possible types of offers for that employee are then displayed in the upper right. At this point you can edit the effective date You double click the type of offer or highlight it and click “Get Offer”

Employee Infotypes IT0167, IT0168, IT0169, IT0170, IT0171, IT0378 IT0001, IT0002, IT0006, IT0021, IT0375, IT0019, IT0041, IT0219, have been accessed as required/requested.

Infotypes listed to the left contain benefit relevant information can be added, displayed, or maintained with this transaction.

Once results have been returned you can expand information by clicking on each plan option. A window opens in which you can set plan options, beneficiaries/dependents and enroll.

At any point after selecting the employee you can click the Overview button on top right to view that employee’s “General Overview of Benefit Plan Data” Screen

Once selections are made you can click “Costs” to view/Print the Employee/Employer Costs

Complete Transaction by Clicking “Enroll”. You receive a message advising you that the enrollment was successful and an option to print a confirmation report.

Click Overview to view that employee’s “General Overview of Benefit Plan Data” Screen which includes selected Master Data.

The benefit area is the primary subdivision of plans set up for benefits. Benefit areas are maintained and operate independently of one another. Usually benefit areas group employees according to common characteristics like country or org unit.

Selection Set- Benefits 1st program grouping

Chose from a pick list to select a Benefits 1st program grouping from which you will select all employeesBenefit 1st Program Groupings group employees for macro eligibility purposes. Benefits 2nd program grouping is a second identical method of grouping employees for eligibility purposes. The combination of these two groupings places every employee into a Benefit Program.
