Are you ready for MAT1033 ?
Are you ready for MAT1033.pdf
You should consider taking MAT0057!
This course is a mastery based course offered in different modalities and at
different starting points.
You are able to proceed to the next concept of the course after you have proven that you have learned the
previous material:
Advising tool (28 questions, opportunity to take on first day of class)
The course consists of 4 Modules and in each module you must achieve at least 70% on each test
You can select from two different ways of instructions:
Stand-alone: This is a traditional class format.
Computer-assisted: About half the time is spend on instructions and the other half on working on the computer.
(Both modalities require homework to be completed through an on-line delivery system)
If you cannot complete all four modules within one semester you might be eligible to receive a grade of M*
If you have successfully completed module 1 and 2, you could sign up for a class that starts at Module 3 , rather than
repeating what you have already mastered.
* You have to sign up, pay for the class again and complete all the requirements with a passing
grade or the M will turn into an F.
You can use a basic, non-scientific calculator in this course
Homework is delivered through an online delivery system
Tests count 40% ,the cumulative final exam 30%, and must be taken in a proctored environment
If you earn an A you are eligible to take the PERT math section again
