    Are you ready for MAT1033.pdf

  • You should consider taking MAT0057!

This course is a mastery based course offered in different modalities and at

    different starting points.

  • You are able to proceed to the next concept of the course after you have proven that you have learned the

    previous material:

Advising tool (28 questions, opportunity to take on first day of class)

The course consists of 4 Modules and in each module you must achieve at least 70% on each test

  • You can select from two different ways of instructions:

Stand-alone: This is a traditional class format.

Computer-assisted: About half the time is spend on instructions and the other half on working on the computer.

(Both modalities require homework to be completed through an on-line delivery system)

  • If you cannot complete all four modules within one semester you might be eligible to receive a grade of M*

If you have successfully completed module 1 and 2, you could sign up for a class that starts at Module 3 , rather than

repeating what you have already mastered.

    * You have to sign up, pay for the class again and complete all the requirements with a passing

grade or the M will turn into an F.

  • You can use a basic, non-scientific calculator in this course

Homework is delivered through an online delivery system

Tests count 40% ,the cumulative final exam 30%, and must be taken in a proctored environment

If you earn an A you are eligible to take the PERT math section again
