Remarks:(1) "Attained with Distinction" in an Applied Learning subject (Category B) will beregarded as having met the requirement of an elective subject. (5) Mathematics Extended Part (i.e. Module 1 (M1) / Module 2 (M2)) will be countedas an elective subject for the purpose of meeting the general entrancerequirements with effect from 2020/21, but cannot be used as a substitute for theMathematics Compulsory Part. In case applicants have taken both M1 and M2, onlythe module with best result will be taken into consideration.

"Combined sittings" is allowed for HKDSE in the calculation of admission scores. Ifan applicant has taken the examination in a subject more than once, only the bestresult for that subject will be counted. No score deduction for repeated subjects.

Short DescriptionShort Description This programme aims at providing students with a wide range of knowledge,concepts and applications of information and communication technology (ICT) todevelop problem-solving skills in real-world settings. It also provides students withopportunities to appreciate the impact of ICT on the individual and society in thedigital age, and equips students with innovative pedagogical knowledge, up-to-datesubject knowledge, values, skills and practice essential to teach ICT in schooleducation. Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to:

Short DescriptionShort Description This programme aims to prepare well-qualified graduates to enter the earlychildhood profession at the degree level. They will demonstrate the knowledge anddispositions required to design, implement and assess quality programmes forchildren from 0 to 8 years of age in care and education settings. Short DescriptionShort Description This programme aims to provide students with the academic and professionalpreparation necessary to become competent, caring and reflective beginningteachers able to work in a range of early childhood settings and undertake furtherprofessional advancement. Graduates of the programme will (i) be eligible toregister as Qualified Kindergarten Teachers and Registered Child Care Workers;(ii) be recognised as having acquired training on the One-year In-service Course inSpecial Child Care Work of the Social Welfare Department; (iii) have theprofessional qualification required of child care supervisors; and (iv) be eligible toapply for the University's Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Early ChildhoodEducation) Programmes (Part-time).
Streams of Study
The programme will offer two streams of study in the 2021/22 academic year:
Chinese as the Medium of Instruction [CMI] - The medium of instruction ismainly Chinese. English will be adopted as the language of instruction forspecific courses, as deemed appropriate.English as the Medium of Instruction [EMI] - The medium of instruction ismainly English.
Students will be given the opportunity to choose either the CMI or the EMI streamupon admission to the programme. The final allocation of students to the CMI orEMI stream will be decided by the University.

Short DescriptionShort Description This programme is the first undergraduate programme in Hong Kong to offer artsmanagement and cultural studies components to complement discipline-basedtraining in the creative arts. It aims at producing graduates as community-basedartists who are not only artists conversant in an arts discipline, but with workingknowledge of other art forms and cross-disciplinary understanding of one’s culturalenvironmental while experienced in aspects of arts management, communication,and promotional and educational practicalities.
Students will focus on one "core" arts discipline of Music, and will be exposed tovarious aspects of Creative Arts, Cultural Studies and Arts Management. Students'learning experience will be further enhanced by completing an Internship, theRegional Summer Institute, the Final Year Project and other academic activities.

Short DescriptionShort Description The programme aims to provide a basic curriculum conforming to standards thatare comparable to local and overseas universities, but also concentrations thatdevelop students’ intellectual capacity and ability to apply psychological knowledgeand skills in the workplace in three interrelated areas of concentration — (1) SchoolPsychology, (2) Health Psychology, and (3) Human Relations and Communication.
The programme embraces two overarching goals and six subsidiary objectives foreducation and training. Upon graduating from the programme, students will be ableto demonstrate a high level of competence in each of these areas.
To equip graduates with a solid background in psychological knowledge andresearch
a. Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in psychology;b. Apply scientific methods to design and carry out psychological research;c. Demonstrate critical and creative thinking in applying psychological
